Yeah it seemed like a wasted opportunity. It's smacks of corporate interference where they went for a 'safe' option, instead of something more classically FF. Attempting to go for photo realism definitely a mistake and not super duper worth the render power to render all those hair strands, which took up a majority of the power apparently.

I love this song. I love the movie and I'm not sorry - it didn't deserve to be panned so hard. I mean damn, look how beautiful it is, I'd never seen anything like it when it came out...there was nothing like it. I hope history is kinder to it than people were at the time.
