Quien Se Enamoro

The lyrics to Laura Flores's song Quien Se Enamoro speak about a failed attempt to mimic a former lover's behavior that once brought joy and laughter. In trying to replicate this behavior, the singer instead feels overwhelmed with sentimentality and ends up crying. When they try a third time to copy their ex-lover, it results in further pain and distance. Despite feeling the urge to be strong and hide their pain, they're unable to and instead are reminded of their lingering emotions.
In the chorus, the singer reminisces about a past night where they watched the former lover dance and sing old songs with joy. The night seemed to delight the ex, but for the singer, it served only to amplify their despair. Though the singer believed that their lover shared their emotions, they realize that only one person suffers when they fall in love.
Overall, Quien Se Enamoro is a heart-wrenching story of love that has ended, and the struggle to move on. It captures the sorrow and heartbreak that comes with losing a love that was once so integral to one's happiness.

I tried to do as you did to make him/her laugh like that
Pero solo logre llorar de sentimiento
But I only managed to cry from my feelings
When I tried a third time to do it like you
Everything went wrong, you went deeper inside
Que ganas me dieron de hacerme fuerte
It made me want to become strong
And hide the pain I feel from losing you
I saw you dancing, singing old songs
That's how the night works for your pleasure
Thinking that you were feeling the same way I was
Más solo aquí sufre quien se enamoró.
But only the one who fell in love suffers here.
