Lead Hands Lyrics

That all find themselves distorted by choice
This is a curse to humanity
This is not how you were meant to be
Take my hand, I will lead thee to where you need to be
And when you wake you shall be purified and free
What about the ones you love?
Don't they mean anything, anything at all?
They all find themselves distorted by choice
Put faith back in your heart
Don't let it leave your side
Put faith back in your heart
Don't let it leave your side
No longer will you hurt.
No longer will you age.
No longer will you fear.
No longer will you cry.
There are those among us that find themselves compelled
They know who they are
Who will you be, who will you be
Who will you be, who will you be
Who will you be, who will you be
Who will you be, who will you be
Who will you be, who will you be
Who will you be, who will you be
Who will you be, who will you be
The lyrics of Lead Hands' song "Believers" speak about addiction and the struggle to break free from it. The song talks about how addiction distorts a person's choices and ultimately curses humanity. The chorus of the song reflects the hope for the person to take a hand and be led to where they need to be, where they will be purified and free from the addiction. The lyrics urge the person to put faith back in their heart and not let it leave their side, which can help them break free from the addiction.
The second verse talks about how addiction not only affects the person suffering from it but also their loved ones who feel powerless to help. The lyrics ask, "What about the ones you love? Don't they mean anything at all?" This highlights the importance of not just breaking free from addiction but doing it for the sake of those around us as well.
The final verse speaks about how those who succeed in breaking free of addiction will no longer hurt, age, fear, or cry. The repetition of the phrase "Who will you be?" at the end of the song is a call to action and a reminder that the person has the power to choose who they want to be, whether free from addiction or still trapped by it.
Overall, "Believers" speaks to the struggles of addiction, the importance of having faith and loved ones to guide us towards freedom, and the ultimate power of choice.

Yeah I loved their album. My band got to play a show with them back in I wanna say 2010/2011. I feel like the reason that this album was so good was it was very different from everything being put out at the time.
