Iceglass met her partner-in-music, William Maybelline, over the internet. Conversing through music recommender website LastFM, they initially sent each other ’80s YouTube videos, establishing their shared love of music. Eventually Iceglass took the trip to Maybelline’s home in Sunderland in North England and the rest, as they say, is history.
They offer an ice cold post-punk, fascinated by the beauty of art nouveau aesthetics, exploring British seashores and forests at night as well as inspired by the urbanism of Berlin.

The lyrics of Lebanon Hanover's song 'Cadaverously Quaint' describe a character who sees themself as a 'mannequin', a being that is less than human, as they lack the natural imperfections and qualities that make us uniquely human. The character refers to themself as a 'prototype of tomorrows man', which suggests that they may be a product of a dystopian future where humanity has lost its humanity, and has instead become obsessed with perfection and technological advancement at the expense of their individuality. The phrase 'cadaverously quaint' implies that the character is both beautiful and dead, possessing a strange and ethereal beauty that is at odds with their lifeless existence. The repetition of the phrase 'I'll never tan' further highlights the character's lack of vitality and emphasises their waxy, lifeless appearance.
The final lines of the song - 'dismally affected by yesterday's man' - suggest that the character is isolated and disconnected from others, possibly due to their unnatural appearance or their inability to relate to the 'humanness' of others. They feel impacted by the actions of 'yesterday's man', or the actions of those who came before them, suggesting a sense of fatalism and entrapment.
