The band released their third full-length album, Dead American Radio, on August 8, 2006, which features guest appearances from Tim Armstrong and Patricia Day of the Horrorpops.

Well I keep falling in love in every city, with the girls and with the booze
It don't matter how far I go cause I always come home to you
I keep falling in love in every city, with the girls and with the booze
It don't matter how far I go cause I always come home to you
The other night I was drinking and fighting and screaming everything's okay
Well I'll be drinking I'll be fighting I'll be doing everything I've always wanted 7 days a week
Well she called me on the phone you know I'm alone, cause that's just how I became
Well I keep falling in love in every city, with the girls and with the booze
It don't matter how far I go cause I always come home to you
I keep falling in love in every city, with the girls and with the booze
It don't matter how far I go cause I always come home to you
[Tims Part:] (something) down here baby listen to me, we're playing rock 'n roll we're gonna play all night long, we're getting outta control (yeah) (something idk it goes into a bunch of city name drops) Montgomery Miami, L.a., (something) Charleston, San Fransisco bay
Well I keep falling in love in every city, with the girls and with the booze
It don't matter how far I go cause I always come home to you
Well I keep falling in love in every city, with the girls and with the booze
It don't matter how far I go cause I always come home to you
Stuck in the avenues of London tonight but girl I still feel the same
I've got a pocket full of empty memories that I'll keep until the bitter end.
Well I'll be drinking I'll be fighting I'll be doing everything I've always wanted 7 days a week
And when she called me on the phone she found me alone, cause that's just how I became
Well I keep falling in love in every city, with the girls and with the booze
It don't matter how far I go cause I always come home to you
Well I keep falling in love in every city, with the girls and with the booze
It don't matter how far I go cause I always come home to you
"City to City" by Left Alone is a song about a musician who travels and performs in various cities, but ultimately finds comfort in returning home to his significant other. The lyrics suggest that the singer enjoys the partying and women that come with touring, but he always ends up missing his girlfriend or wife. The repetition of the line "I keep falling in love in every city, with the girls and with the booze" highlights the singer's desire for fun, but the following line "It don't matter how far I go cause I always come home to you" suggests that his heart belongs to his partner.
In the second verse, the singer reveals that he is constantly inebriated and making poor choices, which leads to him being alone. However, he still receives a call from his girlfriend, indicating that she is aware of his behavior and still cares for him. The bridge features a spoken-word interlude by vocalist Tim Armstrong, where he name-drops various cities, emphasizing the touring aspect of the song. The final verse references being stuck in London but still feeling the same because of his girlfriend, and emphasizes the idea of holding onto "empty memories" until the end.
Overall, "City to City" is a relatable song for anyone who has struggled with balancing a love of adventure and excitement with the desire for stability and commitment. It highlights the challenges of being in a relationship while constantly on the move and the longing for a supportive partner who can provide a sense of home.
