He was in Kid Abelha from 1981 to 1986, and was romantically connected to the band's singer, Paula Toller. He started his solo career in 1993, and in 2005 released a live DVD called "Ao Vivo." In 2007 he started performing in various locations in Brazil again. In 2015 he released his first album in a long time, Notícias de Mim.
