The click that I rep'
El año 1999
En Caracas sonaba "La Corte" y "187"
Daba mis primeros trazos en las paredes
Me iniciaba en el breakin', escuchaba Dilated
Eran los tiempos de Larkin y Cal Ripken
Usaba monos Adidas y Hilfiger
I'm still on the top y no creo que me alcancen
Lo juro por la memoria del Canser
All my Ninjazz in hell, from here to over there
Lemme see y'all break yo' neck 'n put yo' hands in the air
All my Ninjazz in hell, from here to over there
Lemme see y'all break yo' neck 'n put yo' hands in the air
It's the Y-O-Y-O DOJO, the clique that I rep (uh) original boom bap heads
Huele a spray cuando tengo el mic
You kno' what I'm about, el orgullo del underground
Oye la buena mierda, sounds like a Maybach
Pasé noches en vela, now I'm gettin' the payback
A Rap god? Maybe, but a Hip-Hop saver
Conservador del Latino flava' (fo' real)
You understand the message?
Sólo recuédalo
Wanna beef with CMS?
Mejor piénsalo
We keep in fight, Baja Vida fo' life
Graffiti writers goin' wild for the night, wild for the night
Preparen sus dispositivos auditivos
I'm ready to blast! Como solo Guru lo dijo
We bring the Drama, somos los dueños del sonido
The realest know that I'm a b-boy que lo mantiene vivo
You fake rappers, you ain't stop us
We'll make it happen, keep it classic fo' the real hip-hoppers
You fake rappers, you ain't stop us
We'll make it happen, keep it ill, fo' the real!
You kno' what I'm about
The lyrics to LiL's song 99 are controversial and are likely to be considered offensive by some listeners. The song begins with a reference to a person named Fumpi who claims to be French and states that he loves excrement and hates Italians, especially Tony, who has supposedly killed him. This part of the song is likely to be perceived as racist and is reflective of the negative stereotypes associated with the French and Italian communities. Fumpi's apparent love for excrement is also an example of the profane and vulgar content included in the song.
The second part of the song features a person named Mel Burg who says "Aaa! Aaaoo! Yaaaa!" and "ER". These phrases have no apparent meaning and are nonsensical. Following this, the lyrics shift to mention someone named GDTV, who claims not to be gay but is instead identified as Fumpi. This part of the song features a disjointed collection of statements about the singer's school, which they describe as cool and their favorite.
