Her music has also been featured in several other studio Key visual novels alongside collaborations with 麻枝准, such as Tomoyo After ~It's a Wonderful Life~ (智代アフター ~It's a Wonderful Life~), Clannad & Clannad Afterstory, and Angel Beats. Her voice and music has also been sampled in games and anime, like Beatmania IIDX, RFOnline, and Gunslinger Girl.
Lia started out with I've Sound, appearing on I've Girls Compilation vol. 2 「verge」with 鳥の詩 -short ver.- She then released her first single with I've, SHIFT -sedai no mukou- (SHIFT -世代の向こう-). After this she released her final song with I've, Disintegration, on the compilation of the same name.
During the two year transition to her current label, Queen's Label, she has been featured on several happy hardcore and trance compilation. The enigmatic LIA albums, are examples of this. Her debut solo album on Queen's Label is the album prismatic. Since then she has released three more albums: Colors of Life, gift, and dearly. Colors of Life and gift show yet another side of Lia: classical, thanks to composer Hitoshi Sakimoto (崎元仁).
In 2007, Lia released a compilation box set titled 'Lia & LIA COLLECTION ALBUM-Special Limited BOX-'. The box set includes 3 volumes: Vol.1-「Diamond Days」, Vol.2-「Crystal Voice」 and Vol.3-「SPECTRUM RAYS」.
Both 「Diamond Days」 and 「Crystal Voice」 contain most of Lia's works from I've Sound (Light Colors, Tori no Uta, Farewell Song, etc.) as well as other songs, whilst 「SPECTRUM RAYS」 consists of her trance style, including remixes of songs from the previous volumes, such as Tori no Uta.

Kokoro o motanai ningyou
Warau koto wa naku
Hanasu koto mo nai
Itsuka kiite hoshii kono omoi mo
Kotoba ni wa naranai kedo
Chikara no kagiri o furishibotte
Ningyou wa arigatou to iu kotoba no imi o oboeta
Demo mada tsukau koto mo

Itsuka kitte hoshii kono omoi mo
Kotoba ni wa naranakute mo
Chikara no kagiri o furshibotte

The lyrics to Lia's "Doll" are a poignant reflection on the limitations and struggles of life as a figurative "doll" or puppet. The opening verse describes the doll's birth, "born from warm hands, yet lacking a heart." The doll does not laugh or speak, instead living a silent, motionless existence.
The second verse expresses the doll's desire to be understood and heard despite lacking the ability to articulate these feelings into words. The act of living to the fullest and expressing gratitude for the forces that shape one's existence becomes the driving force behind the doll's existence. The doll speaks of wishing for its feelings to be heard even though it cannot put it into words.
The chorus of the song sees the doll recognizing the meaning of the phrase "thank you" and the importance of expressing gratitude, even if it cannot use these words itself. The ultimate goal for the doll is to be able to travel to far-off places, to reach the farthest corner of the world where there is a potential for it to discover emotions and feelings beyond its current understanding.
Overall, "Doll" is a thoughtful, contemplative song that encourages gratitude for what one has while acknowledging the desire for growth and exploration of new experiences.
