Sunsets lost in
The beauty of sunsets is gone, hidden in the hazy grey skies.

Skies of hazy greys
The skies are dull and grey, making everything appear dismal.

June gloom sets in
As June arrives, a sense of sadness and depression sets in.

Puts me in a daze
The gloominess of June makes me feel numb and confused.

Nothing changes
Despite everything, nothing seems to shift or improve.

All we do is wait
We are stuck waiting for things to get better instead of taking action.

Our heads hanging
We feel hopeless and downtrodden, with our heads bowed down.

Shaking in dismay
We are fearful and anxious about what is to come.

'Cause everyone's afraid
Fear has taken hold of everyone, causing them to be stagnant.

Looks like the end of days
Everything seems to be collapsing, and it feels like the world is ending.

But it takes so much more
It will need more than this to actually bring forth change.

For anyone to say
Before someone speaks up about the need for change.

We need another way
We cannot continue with the current system or approach.

But if we wanted one
Only if we were committed to making a change,

We'd do it just the same
We have the resources and capabilities to create a better solution.

Winter's coming
The colder, darker season is on its way.

Still we're soaked in sun
But we are still acting as if it were summer, ignoring reality.

Summer somehow
This previous summer.

Split us one by one
Tore us apart, one by one.

Days are darker
The days have turned darker and more depressing.

Than they've ever been
Worse than before.

But who could tell when
We were blinded by the brightness of summer.

Summer never ends
It seemed like summer would never end, but now it has come to an end.

We've capsized in our end
We have reached the end, and it feels as though we're sinking.

Words don't change a thing
Just saying something won't bring about change.

Sun disguises darkness
The brightness of the sun can mask the darker reality.

Wish that I could save you
I wish I had the power to rescue you from this bleak situation.

Wish that I could stop this
I wish I could halt this decline and bring things back to normalcy.

Looks like the end of days
It appears to be the end of the world and everything we know.

But it takes so much more
It will require significant effort and work to bring about change.

For anyone to say
Before anyone is motivated enough to take action.

We need another way
We must find a new approach, a different way.

But if we wanted one
If we remain determined and committed, we could find a way.

We'd do it just the same
We are capable of coming up with alternative solutions and making improvements.
