I represent for the people that hate war
Cold war every day niggas freezin silly
Desert Storm in the hood
Sniper rights are illy
Two shots to the body dunno why he shot me
No upbringing, no faith in God
Opportunity positive to create this shit
Niggas treat me like God because
I write the shit
Half of the real niggas would
Never speak on the life that he live
Or rather die with faith
With time cause a minute
Is gonna need you
And they think that war being
Over never stop it please move over
If you real then speak loud
Yeah loud cause the energym we need it now
Its all right for ammunitions, assault rifles
10 of em pounds casualites on the battle
I wear the medal of honor cold War
It’s Lil B Cold War Part Two
In "Cold War Part 2," Lil B begins by stating that he represents those who desire more in life and those who are against war. He uses the metaphor of a "Cold War" to describe the everyday struggles and conflicts that people face. He further emphasizes the seriousness of these struggles by comparing them to the intensity of a "Desert Storm" in the hood, suggesting that these conflicts have reached a heightened level.
Lil B introduces the concept of sniper rights, portraying them as dangerous and potentially lethal. He references being shot twice and feeling confused as to why he became a target. He reflects on the lack of proper upbringing and the absence of faith in God, which can lead to a sense of hopelessness and feeling stuck in life. However, he believes in the power of opportunity and positivity to overcome these challenges and create something meaningful.
Despite the hardships he has faced, Lil B claims that people treat him like a god because of his ability to express himself through music. He acknowledges that many individuals who have lived through similar experiences may never openly share their stories or the hardships they have endured. He holds a firm belief that time will reveal the importance of these narratives and the impact they can have.
With the chorus line, "If you real then speak loud, yeah loud," Lil B urges genuine individuals to openly express themselves and make their voices heard. He believes that this energy and expression are crucial in order to address the ongoing conflicts and struggles that they face. Lil B acknowledges that the need for change and action is pressing, encouraging individuals to be vocal and demand the attention and resources necessary for progress.
The lyrics conclude with Lil B proudly stating that he wears the "medal of honor" for enduring and speaking out about the ongoing "Cold War." He declares that this is the second installment in his series, asserting his commitment to shedding light on and actively addressing the challenges faced by his community. The repetition of the phrase highlights his resolve to continue using his platform to draw attention to the ongoing struggles and conflicts that need to be addressed.
