Later that month, Lil Nas X released a children's ABC picture book named 'C is For Country'.
On March 26, 2021, he released the single โMONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)โ, which was followed by the announcement of his upcoming debut studio album, MONTERO, released on September 17, 2021.
