Lil Nas X Lyrics

(Bizness Boi)

Run to
To me
For three
See, if you need weed, get it from me
It's good
See if you want it, Nas, I got it, nigga, we should go and kick it
See you on the move, but we was cool, now don't forget it
Oh come, get weed from me
It's good

Now you all over the place
Sexy, yeah well I see your face
You just the nigga these days
My brother showed me your wave
Seen you on the TV
Heard that Billboard took your charting place
Heard your snippets on IG, man
Tell me what's the dropping dates
My big sister love you nigga
You the G.O.A.T., my uncle say
New pack just came in, my nigga
This that cookie funnel cake

Run to
To me
For three
See, if you need weed, get it from me
It's good
See if you want it, Nas, I got it, nigga, we should go and kick it
See you on the move, but we was cool, now don't forget it
Oh come, get weed from me
It's good

Oh, you just that nigga, now
Can't pick up, cool, to let me know
You ain't got no talent, nigga
More up in my pinky toe
I just thought that we could kick it
Why not let me know?
You'll fall off, I'll give it, oh
Two months, give or take a whole

Run to
To me
For three
See, if you need weed, get it from me
It's good
See if you want it, Nas, I got it, nigga, we should go and kick it
See you on the move, but we was cool, now don't forget it

Oh come, get weed from me
It's good

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to "Kick It" by Lil Nas X are essentially a drug deal mixed in with some personal reflections and a bit of shade. The first verse is Bizness Boi offering some weed to Lil Nas X, telling him to come to him if he needs any. He adds that they should "kick it" (hang out) sometime and not forget how they used to be cool.

The second verse starts with Bizness Boi complimenting Lil Nas X, saying he's "all over the place" and is the "nigga these days." He also mentions that his family members are fans of Lil Nas X as well. However, he takes a slight jab at Lil Nas X by saying he heard that Billboard took his charting place, implying that Lil Nas X's success is not entirely genuine.

The final verse starts with Lil Nas X not picking up Bizness Boi's calls, to which Bizness Boi responds by saying Lil Nas X has no talent anyways. He then asks why Lil Nas X won't just hang out with him and predicts that Lil Nas X will fall off in two months or so.

Overall, the lyrics to "Kick It" showcase the unglamorous, gritty side of the music industry, with Bizness Boi essentially trying to use his connections to get closer to Lil Nas X and make some money in the process.
