Her roles include The Rocky Horror Picture Show (as Columbia), Jubilee, Shock Treatment (as Nurse Ansalong), and Pink Floyd: The Wall (as a Groupie). She recorded a few singles, too, including Beauty Queen, Fever, and See You 'Round like a Record.

Campbell was a member of the Australian swimming team for the 1972 Summer Olympics; in the early 1980s, she owned a nightclub in New York called Nell's. She starred in Summer of Secrets (as Kym). She writes articles for numerous magazines including Talk Magazine.
