Llorca is Ludovic Llorca (born in 1974), the resident "soulman" of acclaimed French label F Communications, the successful company which has introduced the world to the likes of (label co-founder and techno producer) Laurent Garnier and the forward-thinking jazz of St. Germain (now signed to the legendary Blue Note label). Since signing with the label in 1997 on the strength of an unsolicited demo, Llorca has gone on to become a strong artist for F Communications.

Saw a picture in the paper*
My baby, and her husband to be
Ceremony is on Sunday
Honeymoon in Waikiki
She was smiling like a float in a parade
Happiness written all over her face
I knew someday she'd move on
How'd it come to this?
She's in Heaven, I'm in Hell
I'd love to wish her well
But I hate how happy she is
How happy she is
I knew she wouldn't break down
After we broke up
But I thought she'd take a moment
To shed a tear or two for us
She don't seem to miss me at all
And it's driving me up the wall
I knew someday she'd move on
Man it didn't take her long
How'd it come to this?
She's in Heaven, I'm in Hell
I'd love to wish her well
But I hate how happy she is
How happy she is
Why can't she be
(Why can't she be)
As miserable as me
(Miserable as me)
I knew someday she'd move on
Man it didn't take her long
How'd it come to this?
She's in Heaven, I'm in Hell
I'd love to wish her well
Come to think of it
Spiteful as it sounds
I hope it all comes crashing down
Right on top of her and him
She's in Heaven, I'm in Hell
I'd love to wish her well
But I hate how happy she is
How happy she is
The song "My Precious Thing" by Llorca & Ian Pooley is one about heartbreak and bitterness. The singer, who recently broke up with his lover and saw a picture of her with her new partner in the paper, describes how quickly she moved on with her life while he is still stuck in his misery. She seems to be completely happy and unaffected by the breakup while he's struggling to cope. He wishes he could wish her well, but he can't because he hates how happy she is without him.
The lyrics showcase the intense emotions that come with heartbreak and the struggles of moving on. The singer is filled with bitterness and resentment towards his ex-lover for being happy without him. He longs for her to feel his pain and misery, and even goes as far as wishing ill on her and her new partner. The song paints a picture of a person who is struggling to move on and accept that their former lover has moved on as well.

You are my precious thing
What would i do without you
Honestly i wonder why
Thinking maybe you
Give up on me
Oh babe
I wanna die
You are my precious thing
What would i do without you
Saying it honestly
I wonder why
Thinking maybe you
Give up on me
Oh babe
I wanna die
This ain't just a love song
To make you come around
You were to believe in me
When there was nothing, nobody
Oh god, i'm glad i had the chance to make it
Oh god, i'm glad i had the chance to make it right
You are my precious thing
What would i do without you
Saying it honestly
I wonder why
Thinking maybe you
Give up on me
Oh babe
I wanna die
I hope it's the right time,
For in you i've found,
The love i needed, to keep me going on strong, on strong
It may be the right time,
To make you come around,
You were there, when i needed you
When i needed you most, yeah
