Black Willow

Because the life I lived is dead
Because I could not find the words
I could not hold it in my head
I make my bed beside the road
My body glows inside the smoke
And I′m waving off
All defenses down, and when I walk
I carry a diamond blade when you said serve you
I will not
Because the spark is in the air
I let it go up by itself
My tongue is itching with the sound
You′re always singing in my head
I make a home inside the wind
Stars are burning in the west
And I'm moving on
I carry a diamond blade, I'm moving on
To pull the fences down, and when I walk
I carry a diamond blade, I will not serve you

The lyrics of Loma's song Black Willow convey a sense of detachment and moving on. The singer seems to have reached a point where they can no longer hold onto the past and must let it go. The first verse describes a feeling of being on the edge and the death of the life they have known. They are unable to find the right words to express themselves and instead make their bed besides the road, surrounded by smoke. The following verse talks about a spark in the air that they let go up by itself, and their tongue itching with the sound of music that is always in their head. They make a home inside the wind, with stars burning in the west.
The chorus repeats the line "I carry a diamond blade, I'm moving on", which could be interpreted as the singer's determination to cut ties with their past and start anew. They won't serve the person who asked them to, and will instead carry the diamond blade with them as they walk away. The repetition of "Black Willow" at the end of the song could be referencing the tree's symbolism of strength and resilience, which the singer embodies as they move forward.
Overall, Black Willow seems to be a song about letting go of the past and finding strength in oneself to move forward. The imagery of smoke, wind, and stars adds to the intangible yet powerful feeling conveyed in the lyrics.

I was struggling with my self confidence for quite a long time. When I was listening to this song I was thinking how much beautiful and original the woman is. Somehow I saw the beauty of all the women in the world through her, including myself. It's such a beautiful song and video.

Indeed they seem to hit home with every one in a way for me it was half silences not being able to say but making sure it happens through positive energy good stuff agreed whole heartily:)…
