Cuando Golpea el Viento
Los Pericos Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Y no vas a llegar
Es la hora
Y el tren que se te va.
Sin plan B
No hay manera de llegar a casa
Y pensás:
"¿Qué es lo que tengo que hacer?".
Y tan sola te sentís, ahí
Desesperada para ver:
Sombras que bailan en la noche
Despiertan tu imaginación
Se mueven al ritmo, de la luna
Envolviendo todo el lugar.
Envolviendo todo el lugar.
Decisiones
Que no podés tomar
Es el miedo
El que no te deja reaccionar.
Escuchas
Solamente tu respiración
Cuando golpea el viento
Te das vuelta y no hay nadie ahí.
Y tan sola que sentís, acá
Desesperada para ver:
Sombras que bailan en la noche
Despiertan tu imaginación
Se mueven al ritmo, de la luna
Envolviendo todo el lugar.
Envolviendo todo el lugar.
Envolviendo todo el lugar.
The lyrics to Los Pericos's song "Cuando Golpea el Viento" (When the Wind Blows) describe a feeling of being lost and alone, with no clear path forward. The singer of the song has missed their train, with no backup plan in place, and feels stranded and uncertain about what to do next. The sense of isolation and desperation is palpable, with the lyrics painting a vivid picture of someone in a difficult situation.
As the song progresses, the singer begins to imagine shadows dancing in the night. The shadows are a metaphor for the fears and uncertainties that haunt them, and the music that they dance to represents the rhythms of life that are beyond the singer's control. Despite the ominous quality of these shadows, there is also a sense of beauty and wonder in their movements. Ultimately, the singer is enveloped by their imagination and the music of the night, finding some solace in the midst of their confusion and fear.
The lyrics of "Cuando Golpea el Viento" are a powerful reminder of the ways in which music can provide comfort and meaning in difficult times. Though the singer is lost and alone, they are able to find some beauty and connection in the rhythms of the world around them. The song is a testament to the power of creativity to help us make sense of our lives and find meaning in the face of uncertainty and hardship.
