The song "Orgullo Maldito" by Los Tigres Del Norte talks about a man who is struggling with his pride after his partner leaves him. He can't bring himself to ask her to come back even though he still loves her deeply. He wants to admit his mistake and tell her how much he's been suffering since she's been gone, but his pride won't let him. Despite knowing that she's a good person and could come back to him, he doesn't want to be left on the sidelines again if he were to try and reach out to her.
