El Canoero
Los Warahuaco Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Yo soy el canoero que rema y rema
Que rema y rema
Yo soy el canoero que rema y rema
Que rema y rema
Buscando la más linda
Que es mi morena
La busco para darle
Cositas buenas

Yo salgo del rio Silu
(Rio abajo compa)
Y sigo por el San Jorge
Mirando de playa en playa
Todas las huellas que dejas tu
Mirando de playa en playa
Todas las huellas que dejas tu

Me deslizo por el cauca
Y bajo hasta el Magdalena
Llego a bocas de ceniza
Y no encuentro a mi morena
Llego a bocas de ceniza
Y no encuentro a mi morena

Playera playera (mi playerita)
Porque es que te vas (mi playerita)
Con quien tú te vas (mi playerita)
A donde te vas (mi playerita)
Este pobre canoero (se va a matar)
Este pobre canoero (se va a matar)
Este pobre canoero (se va a matar)
Este pobre canoero (se va a matar)

(Prrr cumbia)

Yo soy el canoero que rema y rema
Que rema y rema
Yo soy el canoero que rema y rema
Que rema y rema
Buscando la más linda
Que es mi morena
La busco para darle
Cositas buenas

Me deslizo por el Cauca
Y bajo hasta el Magdalena
Llego a bocas de ceniza
Y no encuentro a mi morena
Llego a bocas de ceniza
Y no encuentro a mi morena
Yo diviso en alta mar
La espuma que deja el barco
Seguro que se me lleva
La mujercita que quiero tanto
Seguro que se me lleva
La mujercita que quiero tanto

Playera playera (mi playerita)
A donde te vas (mi playerita)
Y vas a Buena aventura (mi playerita)
O te vas a Panamá (mi playerita)
Este pobre canoero (se va a matar)
Este pobre canoero (se va a matar)

Este pobre canoero (se va a matar)
Este pobre canoero (se va a matar)
