Depois disso, não demorou para Marcus Menna (voz e violão), Sérgio Morel (guitarra e teclados), Sérgio Ferreira (guitarra), Vitor Queiroz (baixo), Alessandro Barros (saxofone) e Bicudo (bateria) estourarem em todo o país. O primeiro álbum, auto-intitulado, LS Jack lançado em 1997 trouxe o hit "Você Chegou", além de "Go Back", dos Titãs e "Quase Um Segundo", do grupo Os Paralamas do Sucesso.
