How Can I
Luciano Lyrics

Readlight
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Yeah-yeah
Ooh yeah, yeah

In the land there is a problem (I don't know but something ain't right)
But it's working day and night
Seems we've lost our way
Our hearts no longer open

How much more will it take, take
To make a change
I know you've made me stay, stay
But keep moving on
Time, time, time again
I can see the wicked
And let's not play blind

'Cause I can see Jah's blessings in the break of light
I can hear His voice in the wind
I can feel Jah's touch in the pouring rain
How can I feel it in you and me
How can I feel it in you and me

So many last of time, yeah
And they keep on going
Reality we have the time as well
Seperation everywhere
Read it in The Sun

I can see Jah's blessings in the break of light
I can hear Jah voice in the wind
I can feel Jah's touch in the pouring rain
How can I feel it in you and me

This is the time to stand as one
Yes I know (Yes I know)
And I felt weary a faith away
Together we can reach the shore

'Cause I can see Jah's blessings in the break of light
I can hear His voice in the wind
I can feel Jah's touch in the pouring rain
How can I feel it in you and me
How can I feel it in you and me

Ay oh, how can I
Feel it in you and me
(How can I, how can I)
How can I, feel it in you and me
Feel it in you and me
Woah again, hey, oh

Oh my people yeah
Don't you think it's time to come together

Overall Meaning

The song "How Can I" by Luciano is a call to action for people to come together and make a change in the world. The opening lines suggest that there is a problem in the land and that things are not right. The lyrics point out that we have lost our way, and our hearts are no longer open. Luciano asks, "How much more will it take to make a change?" and expresses his desire to keep moving forward.

In the chorus, Luciano shows his belief in the blessings of Jah (God) as he sees them in the break of light, hears his voice in the wind, and feels his touch in the pouring rain. He questions how we can feel Jah's presence within ourselves, as well as in others.

The second verse highlights the reality of the separation that exists between people and suggests reading The Sun newspaper to understand the extent of the problem. Luciano calls for unity and togetherness, emphasizing that this is the time to stand as one and make a difference. He concludes with a repetition of the chorus, reminding listeners to believe in Jah's presence and togetherness.
