Described by Rolling Stone magazine as “the best band you’ve never heard of,” Luna blended nuanced guitar work, shading dynamics, and Wareham's wry wit. The original line-up was expanded with the addition of guitarist Sean Eden for their second album, 1994's Bewitched. Lee Wall replaced Demeski on drums in time for 1997's Pup Tent, and Britta Phillips of The Belltower (also known as the singing voice of animated character Jem) joined when bassist Justin Harwood departed in 2000. They played their final concert at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City on February 28, 2005. Phillips and Wareham became romantically involved and eventually married in 2007. After reforming for tour dates in 2015 and 2016, Luna announced plans for two new recordings to be released in 2017.

Formed on the ashes of the new wave band La Strada and getting the name by the Bernardo Bertolucci film La Luna, Luna quickly gained the public's attention and established a cult status. Owing to Marko Brecelj, a former Buldožer member, who had approached them after a performance in Rijeka, Zoran Bulatović "Bale" (guitar), Slobodan Tišma (vocals), Ivan Fece "Firchie" (drums) and Jasmina Mitrušić "Mina" (keyboards, vocals) got the opportunity to release their debut album. No Regrets
Luna Lyrics

For far too long I've had nothing new to show to you
Goodbye dry eyes I watched your plane fade off west of the moon
It felt so strange to walk away alone
No regrets
No tears goodbye
Don't want you back
Say goodbye again
The hours that were yours echo like empty rooms
Thoughts we used to share I now keep alone
I woke last night and spoke to you
Not thinkin' you were gone
It felt so strange to lie awake alone
No regrets
No tears goodbye
Don't want you back
We'd only cry again
Say goodbye again
Our freinds have tried to turn my nights to day
Strange faces in your place can't keep the ghosts away
Just beyond the darkest hour, just behind the door
It feels so strange to lead my life alone
No regrets
No tears goodbye
Don't want you back
We'd only cry again
Say goodbye again
The lyrics of "No Regrets" by Luna convey the emotions of someone who has been left by their loved one who has been absent for far too long. The singer has nothing new to offer to their partner and feels it is time for them to leave. The feeling of loneliness and hurt is captured as the singer watches the plane fade into the horizon. The song is filled with nostalgia as the thoughts and moments that the singer shared with their partner now only echo in their mind like empty rooms. The singer's sleepless nights lead them to talk to their partner, not realizing that they're gone. The song finishes with the singer expressing their desire to move on, having no regret, or tears. The singer recognizes that if their partner returned, they would only cry and say goodbye again. The lyrics reflect the struggle of coming to terms with a breakup, letting go of what once was, and the desire to move on.
