Music Makers
Lydia Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
A dream inside your dreams.
We will be your music.
In "Music Makers," Lydia sings about being the creators and architects of music. The song begins with the lyric "We are the music makers," which implies that music originates from the minds of the artists who produce it. The term "music makers" is used to describe these creators and the power that they possess.
Lydia then goes on to say that they are a "dream inside your dreams." This lyric suggests that music has the ability to transport people into another world, one full of wonder and possibility. The listener is invited to dream with the music makers, to experience the power and beauty of their creations fully. These creators are also willing to become the music itself, saying "We will be your music." This is a bold claim, one that suggests that the music makers have the power to embody the very essence of music itself.
Overall, "Music Makers" is a song about the transformative power of music, a celebration of the art form itself, and an invitation to join in the dream-like, other-worldly experience that only music can provide.
