Their second mini album “Ammonite” (2003) debuted at #3 on the national indie chart and remained in the top 30 for six months. After their first successful nationwide tour, they started to attract the attention of major artists in the Japanese music industry, such as Fumiya Fujii, M-Flo, Sons Of All Pussys , L’Arc~en~ciel, Mondo Grosso, Love Psychedelico, and Anna Tsuchiya. After releasing their first album “Petrol”, they survived an intense label battle with minimum damage and decided to sign with HYDE’s label within Sony. Their major debut single “Visions in my head” was used for Canon IXY’s TV commercial starring Hidetoshi Nakata, and they appeared at all of the major rock festivals in Japan. MONORAL achieved worldwide success with the song “kiri” which became the opening theme (the ending theme was provided by Radiohead) for the animation “Ergo Proxy”. By the time they released their second album, “Turbulence”, they were selling out most of their tours in Japan. While recording new material, MONORAL began receiving offers to play abroad. Releasing their long-awaited third album, “Via” on October 29, 2008, they launched their “MONORAL VIA LATIN AMERICA TOUR 2008” tour, journeying through Mexico, Brazil, Chile, and Argentina, and their nationwide“MONORAL VIA JAPAN TOUR 2009” sold out .
In April, MONORAL kicked off their European tour, “MONORAL VIA SPAIN TOUR 2009” and ”MONORAL VIA FRANCE TOUR 2009” in six cities throughout Spain and France. They concluded their 15 month endeavor in the city of Shanghai. Inspired by this overwhelming experience on the road, MONORAL penned “70 HOURS” and embarked on ELECTION TOUR 2009. In 2010 MONORAL released their latest single, ”Origin”, and went on a tour called “This Tour Has Not Begun”.
MONORAL’s two mini albums and three full-length albums are currently on sale.

MONORAL Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
To see the world that I've made for you
take your time
and just screw me well
I stick around and read your mind
you know that nothing matters
as long as you're near, near me
and trace the life that used to bleed
wash away
all the pain you hold inside
I stick around to read your mind
you know that nothing matters
as long as you're near, near me
Some times I fall
and show myself to you
sometimes I rise
against what is not me
sometimes I cry
to hide my anger
some times I lie to you
Come around
to see the world that I've made for you
take your time
and just screw me well
I stick around and read your mind
you know that nothing matters
as long as you're near, near me
Some times I fall
and show myself to you
sometimes I rise
against what is not me
sometimes I cry
to hide my anger
some times oh I lie to you
The song "Sometimes" by MONORAL delivers its message about the complexities of relationships and human emotions through its powerful lyrics. The first verse of the song portrays a person who has created a world for their loved one and wants them to see it. The phrase "screw me well" suggests that the person is willing to do whatever it takes to make their loved one happy. The line "I stick around and read your mind" indicates the extent to which this person knows their significant other, emphasizing the depth of their connection. The expression "as long as you're near me" reveals that the person is happiest when they're in the presence of their loved one.
The chorus conveys the different emotions that the singer experiences in their relationship. They fall, which could mean that they are vulnerable in their connection to this person. They rise against what is not them, suggesting that their partner might challenge their beliefs and values. They also cry, perhaps to hide their anger or frustration. The final phrase "sometimes I lie to you" brings the song to a bittersweet end, indicating that even in the closest relationships, people are not always honest with each other.
Overall, "Sometimes" is a poignant and impactful song that speaks to the fragility of human connection and exposes the complexities of the human psyche.

I always come back to this band!! This is amazing that through the time I miss this songs and still love them. They are like good friends-you may not see each other, but when you meet, it feels like no time would past from the last meeting. Greetings from Poland!!

Holy cow.... this CD goes for as little as $32 bucks USED on Amazon. Thank. You. For downloading these!!! What a great, underappreciated band!!
Idk, something edgy
Araxie Rose is that sarcasm? A cd usually costs me roughly $10, and these aren’t exactly big bands, like god speed! Black emperor or three trapped tigers.
