Butter peanuts
MVTEN a.k.a SrawBurn Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Peanut butter whiskey in a rusty glass
Discussing forex and how to make the bag last
Keith Sweat did it/the blueprint was giving
The technique's different the flow custom fitted
Back with my brothers in the 25 we two live
Word to Mr Mixx and Luke Sky
Fresh off the plane from Vegas
The only thing missing is a cigar and these bars on ya playlist
These days my focus flagrant
My taste aging/no longer focused on getting placements
I need my money up front baby
No equity with struggle rappers
I don't chase that fame shit
Love don't make capital
Picture me on the avenue
No thoughts of a scale
Taking my girl shopping while she singin' Adele
Garcia Vega pass that here
All my niggas gon' prosper this year
Pot get hot the finger blistering
Hard head noggin who's listening
I slow beat box the watch glistening
I don't want that girl, I want your sisters friend
What I'm envisioning, who needs a ruler when I'm inching in
God witnessing
A craft perfected with a grin of a sinister
Eyes twitching my body language has foreign discipline
Wheels turning like some Michelin
Tires I'm riding lets gets lifted like some ligaments
Hands in the air ride the waves that we sending em'
There's pain in the water that I'm swimming in
Swimming past the hooks from the fisherman
Pops got an extra shift, mom in the kitchen with the dinner fixed
We been lit
Like them caves with hieroglyphics
Y'all got glimpses,
We been here before like the time shifted
For real
If seeing is believing then the vision is clear
Might I show you how I move how I circle the spear
This is more than just a groove this a personal mirror
If I look how I feel then I shedded some years
If the energy is off then I'm shedding some peers
So sorry for your loss you could've been here yeah, we in gear
Feel the wind in my beard
Chin up no fear like we up in a Lear
Dear dear, don't be bashful I'll ask you
Have you ever seen three king so casual?
No dreams it's actual, peanut butter whiskey a glass full
Ask nice I might pass you ask twice
You don't have to that's a given
These my bros blood flow like it's Crimson

My religion rap mixed with wisdom
I'm still breathing guess God isn't finished

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of "Butter peanuts" by MVTEN a.k.a SrawBurn touch on various themes and concepts. In the first verse, he sets the scene with "peanut butter whiskey in a rusty glass," which creates a sense of nostalgia and casualness. While enjoying this drink, he engages in discussions about forex trading and making the bag (money) last. He mentions Keith Sweat and refers to his blueprint, suggesting that he is drawing inspiration from successful artists and developing his own unique style.

In the next lines, MVTEN highlights his connection with his brothers in the 25th district while referencing Mr. Mixx (a member of the iconic hip-hop group 2 Live Crew) and Luke Sky (possibly a play on words, combining Luke Skywalker from Star Wars and the sky as a symbol of aspiration). This suggests a sense of camaraderie, and MVTEN acknowledges his roots and influences.

As the song progresses, MVTEN expresses a shift in his focus and priorities. He no longer seeks fame or placements but prefers having his money upfront. He distances himself from struggling rappers and emphasizes the importance of love not being the sole source of capital. This shows a maturity and wisdom in his mindset.

MVTEN continues with vivid imagery, depicting himself on the avenue without thoughts of a scale (possibly referring to drugs) and taking his girl shopping while she sings Adele. These lines convey a sense of living in the moment and enjoying life's pleasures with loved ones.

Throughout the song, MVTEN showcases his confidence and determination. He references Garcia Vega, a popular brand of cigars, and expresses his belief that he and his friends will prosper in the coming year. He demonstrates his resilience and perseverance, stating that his head is strong enough to endure the challenges he faces.

In the final verses, MVTEN reflects on his personal growth and the lessons he has learned. He mentions the pain he has experienced but also emphasizes the strength and resilience he has developed as a result. He likens his journey to swimming in water filled with pain while navigating past the hooks of hardship. MVTEN acknowledges the sacrifices his parents have made, with his father working extra shifts and his mother cooking dinner. Despite the challenges, he asserts that they have been "lit," meaning they have been successful and thriving.

MVTEN concludes the song by emphasizing his authenticity and personal journey. He describes his unique style as a blend of rap and wisdom, likening it to his religion. He affirms his existence and purpose by stating that he is still breathing and suggests that God is not finished with him yet. This final line reflects a sense of hope and optimism for the future.

Store the peanut butter in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. You may get a little oil settling on the top after a while, you just need to give it a vigorous stir ;)

Purity Waithera

Is it a must 2weeks?

OnePotChefShow

It depends on the peanuts. Some peanuts have more natural oil in them, so you don't need to add as much extra oil. Sometimes they have less, and additional oil is required. That's why you only add a little at first, then add more if required ;)

OnePotChefShow

I used a packet of Unsalted Peanuts (the same kind you would eat as a snack) which are usually already roasted. If you are using raw nuts, you can lightly toast them in the oven if you like ;)

eastside0434

What do you think about adding hot pepper sauce to peanut butter.?

OnePotChefShow

This version would be fine for baking. Just make sure to give it a good stir before using it, to ensure any separated oil is properly mixed back into the peanut butter ;)

OnePotChefShow

For crunchy peanut butter, use a little less oil and process it less. Yes, you can use almonds instead ;)

OnePotChefShow

Use slightly less oil and process the mixture less, or mix in some crushed peanuts before transferring the peanut butter to a jar/container ;)

OnePotChefShow

I remember my Mum getting the same stuff at the local health food shop back in the 80's. Personally, I thought it was vile as they always added way too much oil.

OnePotChefShow

You can use a blender as long as it's a powerful one. It's best to use unsalted peanuts, so you can control the amount of salt in the peanut butter ;)
