Three months later Falling in Love was released, another hit-single which reached number 4. These singles both won gold because they sold more then 25000 copies. 1998 was finished in dance-beauty with their third single Alive. In 1999 the group again released three singles: Out of control, The Rain and Emotions which were smaller hits than the ones from 1998. They also produced a full album Angel (Millenium edition) which reached the number 1 spot in the album chart which is quite astonishing for a dance album.
2000 also gave birth to 3 singles: Be my lover, For you and All I need. The last one did pretty good in the charts (March 2001) and is the most successful of the 3. Walk away was the last single of Mackenzie feat. Jessy. (released in 2001). Jessy decided to take a break until the summer of 2002. She's now back with her solo project Jessy.
The Mackenzie producers searched for another singer and in 2002 the Mackenzie feat. Jessy changed into the Mackenzie feat. Kelly

Always just a-missing me Never heading where it's needed
Well I've kept my eyes wide open I've searched far and wide
There's no place I wouldn't go Seeking an end to this drought
Oh loves in a drought Oh I wish it would rain
I'm running on an empty tank Yeah I need filling up again
I don't like asking, Oh asking for too much
So please... let it rain
Droughts are so lonely I don't wanna to be alone
But they don't last forever I've got that on my side
Sooner or later it won't pass me by
So let it rain
Loves in drought Oh I wish it would rain
I'm running on an empty tank Yeah I need filling up again
I don't like asking, Oh asking for too much
I only need a little love just a little bit of love
Just a little bit of love
Oh loves in a drought Oh I wish it would rain
I'm running on an empty tank Yeah I need filling up again
I don't like asking, Oh asking for too much
I only need a little love just a little bit of love
So please... let it rain
A little bit of love
Droughts are so lonely I don't wanna to be alone
But they don't last forever I've got that on my side
Sooner or later it won't pass me by
So let it rain
Droughts are so lonely I don't wanna to be alone
But they don't last forever I've got that on my side
Sooner or later it won't pass me by
So let it rain
A little bit of love, let it rain I need a little bit a love, let it rain
The lyrics of "Falling In Love" by Mackenzie feat. Jessy express the longing for love and the feeling of being stuck in a drought-like situation. The song compares the lack of love to a storm that passes over and never hits where it's needed. The singer has been keeping their eyes wide open, searching far and wide but has not been able to find love. The chorus repeats the phrase "loves in a drought", which is a metaphor for the scarcity of love, and the singer wishes for it to rain, which is a symbol for love falling from the sky.
The lyrics also convey a sense of vulnerability and hesitation to ask for too much, which could be due to past experiences of rejection or fear of being perceived as needy. Despite this, the singer expresses their need for just a little bit of love to fill their empty tank. Towards the end of the song, the singer acknowledges the transitory nature of droughts and hopes for love to soon come their way. The repetition of the phrase "let it rain" signifies the singer's eagerness and openness to receive love.
Overall, the lyrics of "Falling In Love" carry a message of hope and perseverance in the pursuit of love. It encourages the listener to keep their eyes and heart open, even in times of drought, and to embrace love when it finally comes their way.
