1) Magica was a group of artists who released two different singles in 2000. It consisted of Kees Biemans and Marc Manniën. The two singles was Magica - known from DJ Jeans popular album series Madhouse released spring 2000, and La Puerta Del Corazon.
2) Magica started in February 2002 as a project of Bogdan Costea, directly with the recordings for the 1st album The Scroll of Stone (having more of a demo purpose). After 2 months of intense work, the material was ready! 12 power melodic heavy metal songs, in the vein of Rhapsody, Nightwish and Helloween, which show the high potential of the band. After the songs were ready Bogdan recruited the members of the band.
The second album, Lightseeker, has been launched in October 2004 in France through Underclass Music.
Magica's first video, "Bittersweet Nightshade", was ready on February 10, 2005. Magica has been featured in the famous "Metallian" and "Rock Hard Magazine".
In 2006 the band had the pleasure of touring Europe opening for After Forever and Nightmare, Apocalyptica and Leaves' Eyes .
The third album is called Hereafter and was recorded in the autumn of 2006 but due to a label change, it was released on 19 October 2007 via AFM Records Germany. Two videos were shot for this album, " All waters have the colour of drowning" and "Entangled".
In November 2007 Ana was invited to take part in the huge Hellish Rock tour alongside Helloween, Gamma Ray and Axxis for 3 months of intense touring . It was an unforgetable experience. Check out the tour report.
2008 was the year of the Wolves and witches album.
2010 brought a new studio work, entitled Dark Diary.

Magica's song "Daca" has a hauntingly beautiful melody and the lyrics are poetically rich. The song is asking the listener if they have ever wished to escape from this world and leave it all behind. It starts with a question asking if they had the ability to fly on a broomstick at night and have knowledge of everything in the moon and stars, would they still want to live among us mere mortals. The lines are a nod to the witch and wizard world that many of us only know from the pages of fantasy books.
The song then implores you to listen to the world around you, to hear the trees and flowers, and to see the moon smiling down on you as the night sky melts. It's as if the world is speaking to you, calling you to a different magical place if only you would let go of reality and follow your instincts. The chorus continues with the suggestion that if you drink the dew that forms on leaves, a portal to faraway lands will open, and walking through it will take you to a different world.
Magica's lyrics strengthen and deepen when they reference an old tree with roots in the shape of a star, which will talk to you if you let it. The song concludes by posing the question, "What would you wish for if given the chance?" It concludes with the line "Three desires I will fulfil for you," which implies that a wish will be granted if one can genuinely want it, stay pure in heart, and wait for the right moment.
Overall, "Daca" is a lyrically beautiful song that appears to draw its inspiration from nature's enchanting ability to subvert our senses and draw us into a different realm.

This is one of my favourite songs of all time and I was super scared of clivking on the video. I love how the instruments sound, and I love the new production, but I SERIOUSLY miss the vocal harmonies :( :( :( it was the best part of the song. It is what made me fall in love with that album. I also miss the keyboards, but since they were replaced with the guitar, it hurts less

Thank you for your interest! Yes, the vocal part is different that the one on "Tsos" album, but change is natural and since the instrumental is now more powerful, the vocals changed accordingly. Stay close, more surprises are on the way. ;)
