Into the Blue
Magnets Lyrics

But I know I've had my doubts within
Always wondered whether
This was the one forever
But you could always free
The better side of me
And when you tell me that everything's alright
You can lift my heart
And I fly away into the blue
When you kiss me like you do
I never feel earthbound with you
When you kiss me like you do
Sky high, when I look into your eyes
And baby when you kiss me like you do
We've played some dangerous games
But somehow I know there's been a change
You say you know me better
I've felt us pull together
I hope you'll always be
The one who's guiding me
And when I feel close beside into me
You can lift my heart
Chorus
We both ask for nothing
But we have so much to give
And we'll fly away
Chorus 2x
In "Into The Blue," Magnets sings about a relationship where they weren't sure if the love they had would last forever. Despite doubts, the partner they're singing about brings out the best in them and frees them from their insecurities. The lyrics, "Some facts you were born to win, but I know I've had my doubts within, always wondered whether this was the one forever," highlight the internal battle between believing in the relationship and worrying about its longevity.
The chorus talks about how the partner's love allows the singer to feel a sense of freedom and weightlessness, being able to "fly away into the blue." The partner's kiss makes them feel like they're floating in the sky and they never feel tethered to the earth when they're together. This feeling is juxtaposed against their dangerous past, implying that they've been able to move away from risky behavior and towards a more stable, loving relationship.
Overall, the song is about finding someone who brings out the best in you, overcomes your doubts, and makes you feel free and content in their love. It's a celebration of a healthy relationship that allows the partners to grow and fly together.
