You know that you're a piece to a puzzle right?
You are an integral part of a massive, intricate puzzle, known as humanity.

A near infinite puzzle that grows in size everyday.
The puzzle of humanity is so vast and continually expanding that it is virtually infinite.

Humanity is a stunning and elaborate work of art, containing infinite facets and dimensions.

But sometimes,

More often than not, we are filled with sadness when we,

We take the puzzle piece that is us
We take our individual selves,

And we'll pound it as hard as we can
Then we forcefully hammer ourselves into situations

Into a place it's not meant to go
Where we do not truly belong,

Cuz we're gonna make that shit fit.
In an attempt to conform to what we believe is expected of us.

The funny thing is
Interestingly enough,

When you force that piece in
When you strain to fit in where you were not meant to,

You′ll wedge it in
you may succeed in forcing yourself in

But the next piece doesn′t fit right does it?
but because you are out of place, the following piece does not fit correctly,

And the piece after that
Nor does the subsequent piece,

And the piece after that
And neither does the piece thereafter,

And the piece after that
Furthermore, the subsequent pieces will all be incompatible,

Because it means so much that we make it fit
Since it is so important to us to fit in,

And we'll keep on pounding them down
We will persist with trying to conform,

Ignoring the obvious
Choosing to disregard the evidently wrong approach,

Until we have a picture that is so distorted
Until the point where the completed image is so deformed,

So upside down
And completely flipped,

That nobody knows what [?] it's supposed to be anymore.
It is rendered unrecognizable and incomprehensible to the point that its original meaning is no longer discernible.

What do we call this bizzare doppelganger puzzle we've created?
What shall we term this unusual bewildering puzzle we have fabricated?

What's a suitable name for a glaring distraction that doesn't look like anything close to the reality it's meant to reflect
What would be an apt name for an eye-catching diversion that is a far cry from resembling the context it is portraying?
