Roller Coaster
Maria Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Hey, yes you
I know it’s probably being a little tough for you
Trust me, sometimes it is for me too
But we just need to try.
The people around
Complain about your choices and way of being
Judge you for your body and even your skin
And they don’t wanna know how it hurts.
I know

That sometimes you may cry in the shower
So when you’re hurt you can’t even fall asleep
And perhaps you’re so broke inside that you have no more tears

Sometimes it’s fine not to be fine
Everyone have their own time
But it all will be OK again
All the scars you once had will disappear
And you’ll see even clearer
That life is full of good and bad times,
That’s what makes life be life.
That’s what makes life be life.

I wonder if
Who made the roller coaster got inspired seeing the life waves
‘Cuz sometimes we’re in the top
But it’s not too hard to go down or stop.
And when it’s fun we find ourselves turning upside down
We get confused and think we are “life’s clowns”,
But the truth is that it all is worth, because

Some people love you more than you can even think
And after hard moments, good ones are happening
And although you’ve got the right to cry
You should try to appreciate the things.

(but I do understand that…)

Sometimes it’s fine not to be fine
Everyone have their own time
But it all will be OK again
All the scars you once had will disappear
And you’ll see even clearer
That life is full of good and bad times,
That’s what makes life be life.
That’s what makes life be life.

Life is like a roller coaster
It can be fun for some
And scary or bad for other.
All I know is that it’s very fast
But life’s roller coaster is the best

So come on, take your seat
And enjoy the ride.

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Maria's song "Roller Coaster" convey a message of understanding and encouragement to someone who may be going through a tough time. The song acknowledges the struggles and judgment that the person may face from others, commenting on how people often criticize their choices, appearance, and experiences without truly understanding the pain it causes. Maria emphasizes her support, letting them know that she too has faced difficulties and that they should keep trying.

The lyrics beautifully express the emotional turmoil that the person may be experiencing. The imagery of crying in the shower to hide the pain and feeling so broken inside that there are no more tears reflects a deep sense of sadness and vulnerability. However, Maria reminds them that it's okay not to be okay sometimes, as everyone goes through their own challenges. She assures that the scars will eventually fade, allowing them to see the beauty in life and the balance between good and bad experiences. The reference to a roller coaster highlights the unpredictability and ups and downs of life, but also emphasizes that despite the scary and challenging moments, life itself is worth cherishing and enjoying.

Overall, "Roller Coaster" serves as a heartfelt reminder to persevere through difficult times, appreciate the support and love from others, and find joy in the journey of life.

One: The 3 people's job deal with media and/or people. Rick sold homes to families. Linna tought kids, someone who molds the minds of your kids. Maria was a director, a person who captures spectacle and shows the world a variety of things

Two: the June 15th house fire killed two kids, which could tie in with the kids being sacrificed (it creeped me out cause I have that birthday and there was a massacre in Mexico)

Three: In the reopening of the laughter ride, the women looked like she was screaming and the movement of the ride could have forced it back into a smile until it killed her, which is what I suspect for the first 3 people.

Four: I feel like those three died for a reason and especially with the dates of in which they died (the one with the most impact on the world dying first and the last one dying because he solds OUTSIDE of Liminal Land). It also seems like the park would take specific people and kill them for sacrifice or because they could get something out the public which could cause the park's demise. Rick in 1988, Lina in 1984, and then Maria in 1982

Five: Lina's body was found outside the ride in the dirt, which makes me think she sacrificed the kids and had a awakening back into reality or something and tried to escape but got killed. Also, 8 hours? Those kids weren't having fun, they were probably being killed and sacrificed especially because of the constant reference to children's screams and then the religious connection to child sacrifice.

Six: THEY DEFINITELY SHOULD'VE CLOSED THIS PLACE DOWN WTH, I feel bad for the kids and people that were essentially murdered, sacrificed and went missing. The way they built this within an old company that shut down for some SUSPICIOUS reasons isn't a coincidence. They probably saw something and built that place so they would be safe from whatever they fucking saw in there. This just feels like a whole trying to save your own situation, failing and then causing the death/suffering of others.

Given what's behind the password page and the contents of the pages about "H.O.M.E." the police report about that house fire, and the contents of the H.O.M.E. employee/found footage tape that was just uploaded, the purpose of Liminal Land becomes clear.

It's generally believed since medieval times that child sacrifice to Moloch involved burning them alive in a ritual pyre. Moloch is often represented as a bull-headed deity in reference to the story of the Minotaur and the labyrinth, and it's believed by some researchers that stories about Carthaginian child sacrifice also were incorporated into the Moloch story. With that in mind, the park itself as well as the H.O.M.E. complex can be considered Moloch's latest labyrinth on Earth.

The found footage video features the person recording finding a locked door to Section C, behind which children's screams and a bull's bellow can be heard, and the flickering glow of fire can be seen in the frame.

My guess as to what happened on May 20, 1989? Moloch decided to pay the park a visit in person.

No idea what the "Clean Energy" is that the LVO was working on, but whatever anomalous radiation is still present on the site is likely causing the warps in space-time necessary to break down the barrier between the temporal and spiritual realms.

As an artist I hate AI but when AI is used as a tool and not the piece itself that's pretty cool

Some of the injuries seem to be caused from extreme speeds- the "smiles" could actually be damage. This is actually not the worst of it, however. The fact that the deaths were so few compared to how many others went there and had a good time is sus- as if certain individuals were targeted. The victims on the Anomaly could have been killed by melting by the looks of it- not from extreme speeds. Any thoughts?

♡AlwaysPerfect♡

I agree, but the people in town went missing and there was no further investigation for that.

Nerdzmasterz

On another note... Liminal means being stuck in two states, conditions, or regions. Given the image of Moloch... that could mean a place between the physical and spiritual realm. Darn- I'm going to have to actually examine this for myself, now.

People don't melt

@Snek human skin can actual start melting and become destroyed when temperatures reach 162 degrees and more!
