In the past, band members dressed in outlandish makeup and costumes, and engaged in intentionally shocking behavior both onstage and off. Their lyrics often received criticism for their anti-religious sentiment and references to sex, violence and drugs, while their live performances were frequently called offensive and obscene. On several occasions, protests and petitions led to the group being blocked from performing, with at least three US states passing legislation banning the group from performing at state-owned venues. They released a number of platinum-selling albums, including Antichrist Superstar (1996) and Mechanical Animals (1998). These albums, along with their highly stylized music videos and worldwide touring, brought public recognition to Marilyn Manson. In 1999, news media, infamously, falsely blamed the band for influencing the perpetrators of the Columbine High School massacre.
As this controversy began to wane throughout the 2000s, so did the band's mainstream popularity. Despite this, Jon Wiederhorn of MTV, in June 2003, referred to Marilyn Manson as "the only true artist today". Marilyn Manson is widely regarded as being one of the most iconic and controversial figures in rock music, with the band and its lead singer influencing numerous other groups and musicians, both in metal-associated acts and also in wider popular culture. VH1 ranked Marilyn Manson as the seventy-eighth best rock band on their 100 Great Artists of Hard Rock. They were inducted into the Kerrang! Hall of Fame in 2000, and have been nominated for four Grammy Awards. In the U.S., the band has seen ten of its releases debut in the top ten, including two number-one albums. Marilyn Manson have sold in excess of 50 million records worldwide.

Sometimes I'll...I'll just bring
Maybe an action figure or two you know
You know the garlic spread
Cuze the garlic spread's important
And then you just walk around
And people always come up
And they're always saying
What do ya got in your lunchbox?
And for the most part it's usually my lunch
You goddamn cunt!
I get so mad...
But you know
Sometimes I'll just (??)..
I just...
Scream!
Hit it!
There's a devil in my lunchbox
There's a devil in my lunchbox
He's right over there next to the peanut butter and jelly sandwich
And the banana
That's right...
There is a devil, in my lunchbox
There is a devil, in my lunchbox
He's just hanging out by the peanut butter and jelly sandwich
And the banana that sometimes you gotta bruise
Like one of them strippers at the peach tree lounge
That's on power line road right next to the (??) by the 7-11

The lyrics to Marilyn Manson's song Devil in My Lunchbox are relatively straightforward in their absurdity. The song appears to be about the internal struggle of the singer, who has a devil in their lunchbox. The devil is hanging out next to the peanut butter and jelly sandwich and banana, but sometimes the singer also brings an action figure or garlic spread. When people ask what they have in their lunchbox, the singer gets angry, but sometimes, they scream instead of getting angry. The devil in the lunchbox seems to be a metaphor for the singer's inner demons, represented by the devil, that they have to confront throughout their day. The sense of isolation and confusion in the singer can be seen in the way they attempt to connect with others by inviting them to hang out, but the offer seems to lack genuine meaning.
The absurdity of the lyrics is typical of Manson's work, which often explores dark themes in a way that's both playful and disturbing. The song can also be read as a comment on consumerism and the idea of possessions. The singer is attached to their lunchbox and its contents, even though they seem to be somewhat random. The devil in the lunchbox may also represent a fear of the unknown, the fear of the human psyche, or the fear of being alone without a companion. The act of carrying around one's inner demons is viewed as a burden that can both cause intense emotions and insane behavior.

this might be a satan on fire (marilyn manson's side project) song, because it hasn't been released on any "official" spooky kids album. the 100 minute demo is a complication album that surfaced in early '95 and includes many spooky kids songs released on "official" spooky kids albums + some other unknown songs, including this.

This demo album is called Assumed Tracks and was realesed in 1991 by Manson's side project called Satan On Fire.

there's a devil in my lunchbox and he ate the peanut butter and ran off with the jam and made himself a sandwich with my banana peelings from the garbage can, devil, devil, devil, there is a devil in my lunchbox.
PosthumanHeresy
Not too odd. The reason was to get into Christian clubs and cause havoc, it just never got there. Best part was that nobody knew it was Manson that was involved, and they pretended there was a rivalry for kicks. Also, when asked if Satan On Fire's lead singer, the future Twiggy Ramirez, was his (Manson's) lover, he said no comment, so there's that little epicness.
Mister Manson
its weird that the guy who made antichrist superstar had a christian band , even if it was a side project

PosthumanHeresy
Yeah, it's Satan On Fire.

According to Manson, it was "A fake Christian death metal band we started to play at Christian nightclubs. Twiggy sang and I played lead bass. The premise was that we were a death metal band that was singing for Jesus. We wanted to infiltrate Christian nightclubs and cause havoc.
