He also play contemporary classical, jazz, film score and other popular styles of music on piano. Fowler can learn and interpret music purely 'by ear' or from written score. He also loves to arrange music for solo piano, and many of his performances are arranged by himself, often with an improvisatory effect.

Mark is always learning new music so he will not stop making videos ever.

I want all the 15 people who disliked this video to comment and tell us why, oh why, they did that. This was almost PERFECT in stitching the most important parts of the soundtrack together. I only recall one large brass section missing (and that part was one of the most epic in the soundtrack), but for all I know, it could have been in there- I just was too phased by the awesome level of mastering of the piano by Mr. Mark Fowler for me to realize that I was hearing it.

If you had sheet music, or even links to different sheet musics that helped you in this, we would all greatly appreciate it. I found music for London Calling, but the rest is more elusive for us piano players. I'm trying to learn the rest of if on my own. Thank you Mr. Fowler, you inspire us all..

Watching you play this is probably one of the most amazing things I've ever seen- and that's not even including the music... I think I just died from awesomeness overdose fangirl moment. I think London Calling is perfect for the piano; tt's even Chopin-esque sounding. I'm really starting to like Michael Giacchino's work; although I have no idea where he comes up with these crazy puns for his song titles! :P

Hi Mark, I'm a huge fan from Italy, I really love this channel, and I play piano myself (I'm 17 I'm still learning) and I always wonder what piano are you using? And how do you record it? Your playing and the crisp sound are a beautiful combination

Tony Marescalco thanks, this is an old Roland hp507, but they are no longer made, the piano records your performances into wave audio, most modern digital pianos can record internally now, so you just press a button on the piano to record, insert a USB stick to record onto, take the file and put it on your computer.

i was at the star trek into darkness - live to projection- performed by the 21st century symphony orchestra & chorus (which michael ciacchino also attended) and omg so amazing! am browsing the internet for the music since! XD i so want to play it as well but oh gosh i already know i won't have time to practice T_T ... i'll stick on buying the soundtrack and ... this beautiful suit consisting of my two fav songs from the movie! (just need to check if my paypal is filled XD)

How on earth do you achieve that bubbly glittering sound from 2:52 on? I haven't found any other arrangement like that. Even good ones hit just blunt boring chords in the right hand. This decomposed chords sound fantastic, I can see a bit the move but it's hard for me to catch every detail. Don't you want to make a how to or record a synthesia slow-mo? Thanks a lot for recording this piece!
