Over the last 20+ years, Matt Consola has had an exciting career primarily as an Internationally renowned “Circuit, Bear and Leather community DJ” as well as a record label owner and producer, first with Redzone Records and now with Swishcraft Music (www.SwishcraftMusic.com). And while the term “circuit” may not be a favorable one these days, he would not trade those events or experiences with anyone. “I look back at my days as a resident DJ at Metropolis (SF), Crobar (Miami & Chicago), and Pure &Amsterdam (Denver), and I’m still amazed by the crowds, the events, and most of all, the music. Not to mention I loved the traveling.” In just a few short years, this kid who had never left the country, suddenly found himself playing to thousands in England, Ireland, Greece, Mexico and Canada. Not to mention headlining some of the biggest International Street Events, Raves, RSVP Gay Cruises and Circuit parties including the San Francisco & Los Angeles Pride Fairs as well as The Folsom Street Fair, Up Your Alley, The Palm Springs White Party and the Black Party just to name a few. Along with producer Keith Haarmeyer, Consola formed the record label Redzone Records in 1999 and released over 30 successful Billboard Top 10 and #1 singles, remixes and compilations, including his much-loved Circuit Grooves CD series.
In 2009, Consola had the honor of opening for The Pet Shop Boys at the historic Warfield Theater for their sold out Pandemonium World Tour September 22nd & 23rd 2009, which lead to dates at the infamous House of Blues. Currently a fixture in San Francisco at the internationally renowned Sanctuary, Adonis and Boy Bar clubs for Gus Presents, Consola is also a traveling resident DJ with Bearracuda, America’s largest bear club. With monthly or quarterly parties in 16 cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, Austin, Orlando, Phoenix, Atlanta and Salt Lake City, Consola has been tapped to play 2011 Bearracuda parties Montréal, Amsterdam, Australia and New Zealand. His upcoming tour dates can be viewed at his website www.MattConsola.com.
In addition to a very successful Itunes Podcast called Adapter, which averages 21,000 downloads & streams a week, and a Saturday Nite, hour-long Internet radio mix-show on the Sobel Nation Radio (sobelnationradio.com), Consola has launched a new 2011 record label called Swishcraft Music. Swishcraft Music features newly produced singles and remixes by Matt Consola, and other artists, featuring some of the top vocal talents in the industry, as well as licensed singles from the UK. Swishcraft kicked off with the #1 club hit 'Midnight' by Matt Consola feat Brenda Reed & LFB, and the equally successful follow up, "Coming Back" was licensed by and featured in Ambercrombie & Fitch in-store campaigns. Additional artists released through Swishcraft include Liam Keegan, Cristian Poow, Ejector and Star Powah.

One day you went away
'Cause there were no more reasons to stay
You just opened up the door
Oh baby and walked out of my life
One day you'll come to me
To say you never stopped loving me
I will insist but I know
Coming back coming back
Coming back into my arms baby
Coming back coming back
Coming back into my heart
(repeat)
One day you walked away
Cause there were no more reasons to stay
I'm trying to forget the past
But I can't it's too hard for me now
One day you'll come to me
To say you never stopped loving me
You will insist and you know
I will not say no
Coming back coming back
Coming back into my arms baby
Coming back coming back
Coming back into my heart
The lyrics of Matt Consola's song "Coming Back" evoke feelings of love, loss, and hope. The opening lines state the artist's faith and belief in love, setting the tone for the song. The first verse speaks of a lover leaving without any reason, leaving the artist heartbroken and alone. The pain and sense of abandonment from this loss is evident as the artist issues a plea for the departed lover to come back, hoping to bring resolution and happiness to their life.
The chorus repeats the urge for the lost lover to return, first into the artist's arms and then into their heart. The second verse speaks of the artist trying to forget the pain of the past and move on, but finding it hard to do so. However, with the hope of the lost lover returning, the artist keeps the flames of love burning, ready to welcome the returned lover back. The chorus repeats, this time with an assurance that the artist will not say no if the lost lover comes back.
Overall, "Coming Back" is a bittersweet song about the hope and yearning for lost love to return. The artist's faith in love and the love that they once shared with the departed lover bring a sense of optimism, despite the pain of their absence.
