The love of God that we miss out of when we do not love God in our youth. Peer pressure to be cool and choose not to follow Him is the more common path that we take. Matt, I recall your debut at our Church in Mesa, AZ. Truly you have been blessed with a gift of worship in your music. God truly is with you. Thank you for your steadfast love of Christ. Well, that's way too long to discuss here, unless it's cut short and to the point, which is that Catholicism isn't the true church. Catholicism isn't Christianity in the sense that Christianity is just that because we follow Christ. For example we cannot earn our salvation. Yet they condemn anyone who believes they can achieve salvation by faith alone. Etc etc etc. I could go on and on. With things they've said to back it up. But you just need to ask the Holy Spirit yourself. I can say the truth but I cannot reveal it to you as truth if you aren't ready. Only God can take the scales away. But you must know there are others who genuinely love God and believe in Him for salvation according to the gospel which was preached to us, and the catholic churches claims that they are the one true church and masses and Eucharist are necessary and must be performed by a priest who is bound to a very legalistic lifestyle etc means that anyone who hasn't done these things that they teach are anathema and won't find salvation and any other things they've said. You must know that's not true, and you must know that wouldn't be just. That would entirely defeat the concept that God is good and just. For one none are good but you can earn it and I can't that's not fair. Two, if God says he would save by grace through faith but then only let's you in because of your works while saying the contrary, that's not just. Three if he let's you in because you're of the catholic church but not anyone else who didn't have access to the catholic church or their teachings is doomed, yet there were many believers who didnt do what they teach before, and many throughout the RCC's existence, so again that wouldnt be just. And so on. The Harlot/Whore of Babylon, is the RCC.

Anyone who Believe in Jeaus Christ, His ministry, His Death and Resurrection and His Promises are Christian whether they are Catholic or Orthodox or Prostestant etc which are just a denomination. In Heaven there will be no denomination we will understand everything and we will give praises to the Lord forever.
