He has since launched another album, Beautiful News, and continues to write many more popular songs such as You Never Let Go and Shine.
Songfacts states that Redman's eighth album 10,000 Reasons, was co-written with several of his friends. He then recorded the songs live in Atlanta, leading worship for over 1,000 worship leaders during LIFT: A Worship Leader Collective, put on by Passion City Church and sixstepsrecords on February 18 and 19, 2011. It sold nearly 7,000 units its first week in the US, almost doubling Redman's previous album release We Shall Not Be Shaken. The LP entered the Billboard 200 at #66, his biggest debut to date.
Holy Moment
Matt Redman Lyrics

We remind ourselves of what we do
That these songs are not just songs
But signs of love for you
This is a holy moment
Now something of heaven touches earth
Voices of angels all resound
Come come come
Let us worship God
With our hands held high
And our hearts bowed low
We will run run run
Through your gates o God
With a shout of love with a shout of love
Lord with confidence
We come before your throne of grace
Not that we deserve to come
But you have paid the way
You are the holy king of all
Heaven and earth are in your hands
All of the angels sing your song
We join them now
"As We Come Today" is a praise and worship song by Matt Redman that reflects on the act of worship itself. Redman uses the lyrics to remind listeners that worship is more than just singing and playing instruments, it is a holy moment where something of heaven touches earth. He believes that worship is a sign of love for God, and encourages listeners to worship with their hands held high and hearts bowed low.
The opening lines of "As We Come Today" remind listeners of the purpose of worship. Redman invites listeners to reflect on what they do when they come before God in worship. He emphasizes that the songs we sing are more than just lyrics, they are a sign of love for God. According to Redman, worship is a holy moment where heaven touches earth, and we join with the voices of angels to lift up the name of the Lord. He describes the act of worship as a shout of love, where we run through the gates of God with our arms open wide, ready to worship.
The second half of the song focuses on the grace that allows us to come before God in worship. Redman acknowledges that we are not worthy to enter God's presence, but we do so with confidence because of the sacrifice that Jesus made on our behalf. He reminds listeners that God is the Holy King of all, with heaven and earth in his hands. Redman affirms that we are joined by the angels in worship, and invites listeners to join their song. The song is a call to worship, an invitation to come and offer praise to God.

As we come today
As we gather here now
We remind ourselves of what we do
We reflect on our purpose
That these songs are not just songs
That our singing has deeper meaning
But signs of love for you
As an expression of our love for God
This is a holy moment
This is a sacred time
Now something of heaven touches earth
We are connecting with the divine
Voices of angels all resound
The heavenly choir sings out
We join their song
We add our voices to theirs
Come come come
Let us move closer
Let us worship God
Let us show reverence to our Creator
With our hands held high
In a posture of surrender
And our hearts bowed low
In an attitude of humility
We will run run run
We will move forward with enthusiasm
Through your gates o God
Into the presence of God
With a shout of love with a shout of love
With a joyful proclamation of our love for God
Lord with confidence
God, we approach you with assurance
We come before your throne of grace
We come into your presence where we experience your mercy
Not that we deserve to come
We acknowledge that we are not worthy
But you have paid the way
But God has made a pathway for us
You are the holy king of all
God is the ruler over all that is holy
Heaven and earth are in your hands
God is in control of all creation
All of the angels sing your song
Even the heavenly host sings praises to God
We join them now
We are now also singing praises to God
