Me Lyrics

The thousand things I know,
Forever it takes to my mistakes
Furthering myself to grow
Shadowed doubt can't live without
My one track minded ways
I'm trapt inside this guiltless pride
I'm caged with them
This face
what would you do
With life revealed to you
Tomorrow's ending today
Would you ask yourself
Did I live in the light
Or did I fake in black array
What would you have changed
Would you release the pain
And forgive your world of sin
Now that you know what's here
Will you dry the tears
And let the end begin
clock won't wait I'll kill the hate
Before it takes control
Instead of dwelling in the mist
I'll find my role
Crimson eyes this insomniac tries
To make shape from the formless
Though I know it's hard to find
A reason to accept
To accept
what would you do
With life revealed to you
Tomorrow's ending today
Would you ask yourself
Did I live in the light
Or did I fake in black array
What would you have changed
Would you release the pain
And forgive your world of sin
Now that you know what's here
Will you dry the tears
And let the end begin
just let the end begin
what would you do
With life revealed to you
Tomorrow's ending today
Would you ask yourself
Did I live in the light
Or did I fake in black array
what would you do
With life revealed to you
Tomorrow's ending today
Would you ask yourself
Did I live in the light
Or did I fake in black array

What would you do

Would you release the pain
And forgive your world of sin
Now that you know what's here
Will you dry the tears
And let the end begin.
The lyrics to Me's song "Tomorrow" delve into themes of introspection, self-reflection, and the consequences of one's actions. The singer acknowledges their own mistakes and compromises, realizing that they have been living in a state of blindness and doubt. They feel trapped in a cycle of guilt and pride, represented by the metaphor of being caged with their own face. The lyrics question what one would do if they were suddenly confronted with the truth about their life and its impending end. Would they regret living in darkness, or would they have the strength to forgive themselves and others for their sins? The singer urges the listener to embrace the present moment and let go of negativity and hate, finding their purpose and accepting the difficult task of shaping their life from the formless. Ultimately, the lyrics encourage the listener to confront their own mortality and take the necessary steps towards change and redemption.

[Verse 1]
Now I know I'm not supposed to call
You told me that a thousand times
(I know, know, know, know)
Yeah
But this Henny got me off the wall
I ain't worried 'bout crossin' lines (Oh, no, babe)
Oh, nah, babe
[Pre-Chorus]
I know I'm not your favorite person
It was curt and you got someone new
He ain't there with you (Oh no, no, no-no)
With her sober, don't mean over
Tonight, I need you
So I'm comin' through (I know you hear me, oh)
I know you mad at me
[Chorus]
You can hate me tomorrow
But just love me tonight (Love me tonight)
You can hate me tomorrow (Yeah, baby)
But love me tonight (Ooh, ooh, ooh)
[Post-Chorus]
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh
But love me tonight (Love me, hate me)
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh (Oh)
[Verse 2]
Tonight, if you gotta be mad at me
Show it in a different way (Oh, yeah-yeah-yeah)
And there's no other place I need to be
You the only one who can relate (Ooh-ooh, yeah, woah, babe)
[Pre-Chorus]
I know I'm not your favorite person
It was curt and you got someone new
He ain't there with you (No-no)
With her sober, don't mean over (No)
Tonight, I need you
So I'm comin' through (I know you hear me)
I know you mad, but
[Chorus]
You can hate me tomorrow (Girl, you can hate me, oh)
But just love me tonight (Love me, love me tonight)
You can hate me tomorrow (You can, you can, yeah, babe)
But love me tonight (Oh, love me, ooh, love me, love me tonight)
[Outro]
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh
But love me tonight (Love me, hate me)
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh (Oh)

I totally agree with you! This song, Survive the night, In the city, & Hate being human really give me the healing vibe like he’s made peace in certain areas of his life, if not all. They also have undertones that convey “I still love you, & I wish things were different, but I accept this new reality.” … Though I could be reaching lol
