After having worked with the group of Vigon, Lemons, he created the group King Set in 1966 with his friend and guitarist Alain Goldstein. Two radio successes make known his voice and his talent for the rhythm: an original composition, Apesanteur (Weightlessness), in 1967, and Jezebel in 1968. His solo career began slowly with a 45t at the end of 1968 under the name of Michel Kingset, the following in 1970 under his own name. He has to wait until 1974 to find a large audience with two simultaneous "tubes": Say to me and Super Nana.
In the Morning

in the morning
le soir vous avez compris ça s’dit
in the evening
maintenant qu’vous connaissez le principe
in the morning
faut que tout le monde participe en chantant
in the evening
In the morning in the evening
J’ai connu ma fiancée
in the morning
d'après vous elle m’a laissé tomber
in the evening
on s’est aimé qu’est-ce qu’on s’est aimé
in the morning
on s’est aimé beaucoup aussi
in the evening
In the morning in the evening
in the morning in the evening
Les beaux jours nous émerveillent
in the morning
et se couchent avec le soleil
in the evening
si t’es malheureux si tu pleures
in the morning
c’est pour mieux goûter le bonheur
in the evening
In the morning in the evening
Le café fume en cuisine
in the morning
vivement que la journée s’termine
in the evening
si on supporte le bureau l’usine le métro les meetings
in the morning
c’est parce qu’on a Swing Mister Swing
in the evening
in the morning in the evening
in the morning in the evening
in the morning in the evening
Michel Jonasz's song "In the Morning" is about the cyclical nature of life and the importance of embracing both the good and bad times. The lyrics are in French and use the phrase "in the morning" and "in the evening" to illustrate this concept. The song is sung from the perspective of someone who has lived through many mornings and evenings.
The first few lines of the song talk about how "in the morning" and "in the evening" are ways of saying "morning" and "evening" in English. The singer then encourages everyone to participate by singing along with these phrases. This could be interpreted as a call to embrace the simplicity and beauty of everyday life, even if it seems mundane.
The song goes on to describe the singer's past experiences. He talks about how he met his fiancée in the morning, but she left him in the evening. He also reflects on how much they loved each other. The lyrics here suggest that even though love can be fleeting, it is still worth cherishing.
Later in the song, the singer describes how the beautiful days come and go, like the morning and evening. He also acknowledges that sometimes life can be hard, but that those difficult times make the good times even better. The song ends with a reference to the importance of music in people's lives, and how it can help us get through tough times.
