Amazing record, this used to fill that big old Casino main room with atmosphere, nothing to do with soul music, like a lot of northern soul, but to me that was a big part of the scene, music like this record would never be known about otherwise.

The first time Post was utilized as a young guy was on Andy Williams in later seasons, but he later struck out on his own with his comrade Pete Carpenter when they went to work for Universal in the 1970s. It was there that Post frequently used musicians like Leland Sklar, Dan Ferguson, John Goux, Larry Carlton, Ian Underwood, Mike Baird, Jeff Gerson, Larry Muhoberac, among others at the Universal scoring stages on such shows as Rockford Files and Magnum PI, but he was close friends with Steven Bochco and Stephen J. Cannell.
