Watanabe passed NMB48's first-generation auditions on September 20th, 2010, and debuted on October 9th in the same year. Her theater debut was on January 1st, 2011.
In AKB48's 2014 Janken Tournament, she won first place, and got to make her solo debut. Her first solo single, "Yasashiku Suru Yori Kiss wo Shite", was released on December 24th, 2014.
On April 13th, 2016, she announced her graduation. On July 3rd and 4th, 2016, her graduation concert titled "Saigo Made Warukii de Gomennasai" (最後までわるきーでゴメンなさい) was held at Kobe World Memorial Hall. Watanabe graduated from the group and had her last stage performance on August 9, 2016.
She announced her comeback to showbiz on 2018 and released her first solo album, "17%" on April 3, 2019.
