Soon after, other musicians joined the band. Since then the electronic compositions were mixed with acoustic instruments. This mix of genres defines the live-character of Moglebaum, composed of beat-based music and acoustic orchestration.
Playful computer-beats, vocal-samples and synthesizer-sounds (Alessandro Fáma & Simon Ebener-Holscher) meet soulful vocals (Franziska Geiß), violin and loop-station (Tonio Geugelin & Immanuel Mummelthey) and saxophone (Jonas Geyersberger).
Most of the samples are self-made, with the help of field recording of coffee machines, shopping bags or cactuses.
The name of the band has its origin in the Japanese anime “Pokémon”. The fascination for this special fantasy world has initiated the idea for “Moglebaum”.
Raindrops

and just like the guy whose feet
are too big for his bed
nothing seems to fit
those raindrops
are falling on my head
they keep falling.
So i just did me some
and i said i didn't like the way
he got things done
he's sleeping on the job
those raindrops
are falling on my head
they keep fallin'
But theres one thing i know
the blues they send to meet me
won't defeat me it won't be long
till happiness
steps up to greet me
Raindrops keep falling on my head
but that doesn't mean my eyes
will soon be turning red
crying's not for me cause,
i'm never gonna stop the rain
by complaining,
because i'm free
nothings worrying me
it won't be long
till happiness
steps up to greet me
Raindrops keep falling on my head
but that doesn't mean my eyes
will soon be turning red
crying's not for me cause,
i'm never gonna stop the rain
because i'm free
The song "Raindrops" by Moglebaum is a cover of B.J. Thomas' 1969 hit song "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head." The lyrics describe the feeling of being overwhelmed by the rain that keeps falling on the singer's head, making it seem like nothing fits. The singer then has a conversation with the sun, expressing dissatisfaction with how things are but acknowledging that the "blues" won't defeat him. He believes that happiness will eventually come and he won't let the rain make him cry or complain because he is free.
The lyrics in "Raindrops" are a metaphor for life's obstacles and how we choose to respond to them. The rain represents the struggles that we face, and the singer's conversation with the sun represents his determination to overcome those obstacles. He recognizes that, although the rain may continue to fall, he has the freedom to choose his attitude and not let it defeat him. The song encourages listeners to have a positive outlook on life and to keep striving forward, even through the storms.
