There are a number of artists called Mona.
1. Mona are an indie rock band originally from Dayton, Ohio, now located in Nashville, Tennessee.
They play romantic rock n' roll songs for the 'city folk'. Their single ‘Listen to Your Love’ was recorded in their basement and was released on their own Zion Noiz recordings which came out in the United Kingdom on September 13th 2010. The band comprise of Nick Brown (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Vince Gard (drums), Zach Lindsey (bass), Jordan Young (guitar). According to Songfacts, they are named after Brown’s grandmother.
The band have been so keen to keep their debut material under wraps that rather than sending it out to journalists to review, they played it down the phone to them (Source: The Guardian - New Band of the Day, 29th July 2010).
They are also tagged on Last Fm as: MONA (The Band)
2. Monalisa "Mona" Lengkong is an Indonesian singer and rose her fame as finalist on Indonesian Idol Season 6.
3. Mona were an indie rock band from Salt Lake City, Utah.
In Fall 2002, two musicians made a pact. To create music they loved without worrying about what anyone else thought. Hyrum Summerhays and Chad Dorton established Mona after a split with their band Elsewhere left them craving.
The two wanted to play music with simple melodies and moody lyrics reminiscent of Low, Red House Painters and Belle and Sebastian. Six months searching for the right singer turned-up Mandy Jeppsen, formerly of Gerald Music, and the concept was realized. Like a quiet moment listening through headphones, Mona's luscious unpretentiousness draws the ear inward, beckoning an audience to relax and just listen.
4. Mona is a pop-rock band originating from Helsinki, Finland.
They haven't signed a record-deal yet, but their song Virta has gotten loads of airtime in radio. Mona consists of singer Maija, guitarist Anssi, keyboardist Sami, basist Visu and drummer Tuomas. They were voted to Tulevaisuuden tusina 2011-list (a list in which Finland's most valued music-editors vote artists they think will make a break through in 2011.)
5. Mona are a metal band from Maputo, Mozambique.

Be above now see us bringing on toys
Don't you know we got a choice?
And we go, go, go living like lovers
And we fight, fight, figh like we are in war
Then they know, know the rain won't wet us
And we can, can, can rich too '
If you got a smile but you don't know way
It's easy to do when you live a life
Put it that way for you and I
And you know go, go, go living like lovers
The we, by, by, by like we're all alone
Then they know, know the rain won't wet us
And we can, can, can rich too '
If let 'em through 'we come and say it going down, down, down
They act like they own the place
See the look from their face they, they're going down, down, down, down, down, down
And we go, go, go living like lovers
And we fight, fight, figh like we are in war
Then they know, know the rain won't wet us
And we can, can, can rich too '
And you know that we arrive to'
And you stay, never be the time when we
The lyrics of Mona's song "L.L.L." seem to talk about living an exciting and rebellious life outside the norms of society. The song opens with the singer and his friends walking down the street, making noise and causing a commotion. They are carrying their "toys" with them, indicating that they might be causing mischief or trouble. The lyrics then say "don't you know we got a choice?" which suggests that they are deliberately choosing to live life on their own terms, rather than following the rules of society.
The chorus of the song repeats the phrase "living like lovers," which seems to suggest that the group of friends are living passionately and fully. They also "fight like we are in war," indicating that their rebellion might not be purely for fun, but also a response to something they feel strongly about. The lyrics also say "they know the rain won't wet us," which could be interpreted as a metaphor for facing adversity and coming out unscathed. The final lines of the song say "you stay, never be the time when we," which seem to suggest that the singer and his friends are always moving forward and never looking back.
Overall, "L.L.L." seems to be a song about rebellion, passion, and living life on one's own terms.
