The theme evokes very powerfully all the glamour of the world of Vegas, beautiful expensive classy women, 60s/early 70's London, playboys, Bond, Southern Europe, warm nights, luxurious cuisine, danger, and 1971 as an 11 year old. I've just been transported to wonderland!!!

OMG This was soooooo good! You Sir, are a visionary... if someone doesn't take this idea up, then the world truly is a lump of cheese run by mice from outer space. I loved the 70's series of The Persuaders and these guys would be the ideal inheritors of that title.... FTW!

I agree, definitely not Hugh Grant - it would have to be DANIEL CRAIG as LBS (plenty of footage of him in an Aston, eh!) and George Clooney as DW (and maybe Michael Gambon as Judge Fulton??). Would love to see a video composite with those actors in it (hint hint ...) Tony Curtis and Roger Moore had fantastic chemistry together, they looked as if they ad libbed and joked their way through every episode and were so natural! They must have liked each other in real life! LOVE THE VIDEO - well done!

Outstanding video, very well made, congratulations! I was just about to look up IMDB when I saw your final statement.... I did, however, think that both actors would not cut it stacking up to Curtis & Moore. Clooney would be too stiff, Grant too soft. The original just had something very special about it... Thanks for the video, though...

The original team is the best. However if I could pick from any era a second favourite choice for me would be James Cagney as Danny and Anthony Valentine as Lord Brett.

Very well done. Although I can't see Hugh as Brett Sinclair. The Persuaders got into fights, I can't see Hugh punching someone in the face. Colin Firth could work as some have said in the comments. The cars are a little too fancy, you need an Aston for a start. I think a DB9s and an F430 would be better.

Brad Pitt as Dany Wilde and Ewan MacGregor as Brett Sinclair would be a better choice. However, since these characters are original to Tony Curtis and Roger Moore, I don't think any replacements would work as good.

You're right. A number of articles on the web. But nothing listed on IMDB about Coogan or Stiller doing the persuaders. It could work though, if it wasn't turned into a complete comedy. Needs to have some serious stuff.

Why not use tried & tested partnership Jude Law as Brett Sinclair & Robert Downey jr as Danny Wilde as they have shown good chemistry from the Sherlock movies & then also get Guy Ritchie to direct it & BOOM! Instant hit?
