2) NES is a ethno soul/jazz band consisting of three artists with one unified musical identity. These three international musicians joined their talents while living by the Mediterranean sea in Valencia, Spain. Nesrine Belmokh, a French-Algerian singer & cellist, Matthieu Saglio, a French contemporary cellist and David Gadea, a Spanish well rounded percussionist personify the essence of NES.
Through a process of self discovery and exploration of their roots and identity, their sound has been shaped by the richness and background of their lives and musical experiences, ranging from jazz to classical, soul and Arabic traditional music. Their songs in english, arabic and french, are full of grace and emotion and nurtured by the magic chemistry that emerges from their creative minds. The album, named after one of the songs, Ahlam, means 'dream' in Arabic. “There is no beauty without a concept of goodness” (translated excerpt from the song’s chorus).
NES’s music and unique personalities have captivated audiences around the world at relevant stages such as the Festival des Suds in Arles, le Printemps des Suds in Vence, the Usina del Arte in Buenos Aires, Sibiu Jazz Festival in Romania, and Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, among others.

J'en ai pleurée. La jeune femme avec son enfant me représente bien. Je me suis réparée toute seule. Mon enfant m'a redonnée gout à la vie. J'ai ensuite rencontré quelqu'un de merveilleux qui lui, à su me redonner gout à l'amour, LE VRAI. Nous avons eu un enfant ensemble. Aujourd'hui je suis heureuse. Je me suis retrouvée seule, et maintenant nous sommes 4. Ta chanson Tayc, c'est l'histoire de ma vie....
