Born in a humble family, where her uncles, grandparents and cousins were musicians, since she was a child, the country influence in her life has always been very strong. During her childhood and adolescence she sang in a church choir near her home.
Naiara was raised on the family farm, where she lived until she was 17. At this time, she passed the entrance exam, and left home to live alone in the city of Umuarama, where she studied Aesthetics and Cosmetology, later completing her postgraduate degree. During her university studies, she worked during the week as a waitress in a restaurant, and on the weekends she sang in small informal performances in the city's bars.
In 2012, driven by her desire to survive from music and leverage her career, she moved to Londrina. In 2013, after publishing her work on the internet, she caught the attention of the music industry and recorded her first DVD. In interviews, she revealed that her idols are the duo Chitãozinho & Xororó.
Naiara Azevedo has performed in all states of Brazil and in some states of the United States such as Massachusetts, New Jersey, Florida, Georgia and California.

Meio amor meio beijo
Ninguém merece isso
Viver fingindo libido
Errei
Eu Errei feio, mas não errei sozinha
'Cê não é santo
E eu não sou coitadinha
'Cê vacilou eu só continuei
Se eu olhei pra alguém na rua
Se outra mão me deixou toda nua
50% a culpa é minha
50% a culpa é sua
Se eu olhei pra alguém na rua
Se outra mão me deixou toda nua
50% a culpa é minha
50% a culpa é sua
Um mal amado quando vê uma cerca, pula
Ô Marília e as puladas de cerca amiguinha, 'tá como?
Ê Naiara, aí 'cê me complica minha filha
Errei
Eu Errei feio, mas não errei sozinha
'Cê não é santo
Eu não sou coitadinha
Essa conta a gente vai rachar no meio
'Cê vacilou eu só continuei
Se eu olhei pra alguém na rua
Se outra mão me deixou toda nua
50% a culpa é minha
50% a culpa é sua
Se eu olhei pra alguém na rua
Se outra mão me deixou toda nua
50% a culpa é minha
50% a culpa é sua
Mal amado quando vê uma cerca, pula
Se eu olhei pra alguém na rua
Se outra mão me deixou toda nua

The lyrics of Naiara Azevedo and Marília Mendonça’s song titled “50 por Cento” (50 Percent) tell a story of a relationship that is falling apart due to cheating. The first verse talks about no one deserving to be disrespected and living a life of half-hearted love and half-hearted kisses. The second verse admits to making a mistake, but clarifies that it was not alone. The singer calls out their partner, saying that they are not a saint, and she is not a victim. The chorus proclaims that if she were to look at someone on the street or if someone else touched her naked body, then it would be 50% her fault and 50% the partner's fault. The bridge reiterates the idea that someone who is unhappy in a relationship will look for happiness elsewhere, much like how a mal-amado (unloved person) will jump the fence.
The song’s lyrics build a strong and emotional response from the audience, especially women worldwide. The message of the song is that women are not at fault for their partners' infidelity and should not be judged for it. The song is an excellent representation of modern Brazilian music, which is blurring the lines between traditional samba and modern pop music. Naiara Azevedo and Marília Mendonça are among the leading women in Brazilian country music, and their collaboration has brought a fresh sound to the Brazilian music scene. Additionally, the song has become a sensation on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, with millions of fans using it for their videos.
