Born in a humble family, where her uncles, grandparents and cousins were musicians, since she was a child, the country influence in her life has always been very strong. During her childhood and adolescence she sang in a church choir near her home.
Naiara was raised on the family farm, where she lived until she was 17. At this time, she passed the entrance exam, and left home to live alone in the city of Umuarama, where she studied Aesthetics and Cosmetology, later completing her postgraduate degree. During her university studies, she worked during the week as a waitress in a restaurant, and on the weekends she sang in small informal performances in the city's bars.
In 2012, driven by her desire to survive from music and leverage her career, she moved to Londrina. In 2013, after publishing her work on the internet, she caught the attention of the music industry and recorded her first DVD. In interviews, she revealed that her idols are the duo Chitãozinho & Xororó.
Naiara Azevedo has performed in all states of Brazil and in some states of the United States such as Massachusetts, New Jersey, Florida, Georgia and California.
Showzinho de Recaída

Acreditando estar fazendo o melhor pra nossa vida
O duro é quando bate o arrependimento
E começa o showzinho de recaída
Não foi você quem falou
"Te esqueço num estalar de dedos"
É, 'to vendo
E ficou, um minuto em silêncio
Nem negando e nem demonstrando seu sentimento
E eu quase deixei essa ligação ser perdida hein?
Ia perder esse showzinho de recaída
Você me ignorou
Me bloqueou
Me deletou né?
Só faltou me esquecer
Só faltou me esquecer
Você me ignorou
Me bloqueou
Me deletou né?
Só faltou me esquecer
Só faltou me esquecer
Mas foi você quem ligou
E ficou, um minuto em silêncio
Nem negando e nem demonstrando seu sentimento
E eu quase deixei essa ligação ser perdida hein?
Ia perder esse showzinho de recaída
Você me ignorou
Me bloqueou
Me deletou né?
Só faltou me esquecer
Só faltou me esquecer
Você me ignorou
Me bloqueou
Me deletou né?
Só faltou me esquecer
Só faltou me esquecer
Você me ignorou
Me bloqueou
Me deletou né?
Só faltou me esquecer
Só faltou me esquecer
Você me ignorou
Me bloqueou
Me deletou né?
Só faltou me esquecer
Só faltou me esquecer
Naiara Azevedo’s song Showzinho de Recaída, translates to “The Little Relapse Show,” is about the struggle that can happen after a break-up. The song talks about how sometimes we end relationships believing it is the best choice for our lives, but later regret our decision. The lyrics speak about how it can be tough when feelings of loneliness and sadness creep in after the break-up, and how it can lead to a relapse in the relationship. The phrase “Showzinho de Recaída” refers to the little “show” or drama that can ensue after a relapse.
The beginning of the song talks about ending a relationship, believing it to be the right choice for one’s life, but then experiencing regret. The chorus then introduces the idea of a relapse and the “little show” that follows. The song’s description of a “showzinho de recaída” refers to the way in which former partners frequently engage in dramatic behaviors, such as ignoring each other, blocking each other, or getting back in touch after a period of silence.
The lyrics also discuss the internal struggle that often occurs after a break-up. The individual on the receiving end of the call from their ex-could easily have ignored it, but instead, they answer just to “listen” for any hint of the other’s feelings about the failed relationship. In the end, even though the caller may have hung up without saying much, the recipient would have done anything necessary to continue the little show that comes with a relapse.
Additionally, the song speaks to how the need to stay connected with one’s ex can drive people to desperate lengths. By ignoring, blocking or deleting each other from social media platforms, those involved believe they can move forward, but when feelings of sadness or loneliness arise, these same tactics are tossed out the window.
