Back when I created my character, so very long ago, I never understood why people would pick Galka. I just didn't find them very appealing. After playing the game for SO many years, I don't think I ever met a BAD Galka, like, the type of player you would want to avoid. Most- if not all Galka I partied/met in Linkshell, were so friendly, calm and often humble people, always ready to help. It feels like they could really identify with their character, being a gentle giant. Albeit few, Galkas were a welcome nuance to the player-base!

If you saw a high level Galka mage you knew they were a good player. To get to high level with their small MP pool they had to know what they were doing.

I heard this theme song for hours because I was trying to come up with a name that wasn't already taken! Good times!

Being on this screen is where I was given my new identity, “Shiftychicken” the game chose for me, and to this day I will respond if someone shouts it, I’ve even thought about getting a tattoo of it, just because it runs so deep within me, just like the game did.

Good workout music, sounds like a hardship and struggle. Fitting for a galka.
