A performer since the age of seven (the age at which he joined the Broadway cast of Annie Get Your Gun), Nicholas made his songwriting debut in 2002, when a holiday tune he'd co-written with his father found its way onto a Broadway Christmas album. A contract with Columbia Records followed two years later. Nicholas began prepping for his solo career by writing material with his older brothers, Kevin and Joseph, who eventually climbed aboard as permanent partners. Nick's solo project thus blossomed into a full-fledged band, and the siblings aptly named themselves the Jonas Brothers.
It took several years for the Jonas Brothers to find an adoring audience. It's About Time, the band's 2006 debut, was a commercial flop, and Columbia Records dropped the group one year later. Signing with Hollywood Records in 2007, the band began attracting new fans -- most of them young and female -- by establishing a presence in the Disney world. They appeared on the network's television shows, earned their own series, starred in a made-for-TV movie with Disney starlet Demi Lovato, and sold close to two million copies of their self-titled sophomore album. They replicated that feat one year later with A Little Bit Longer and returned in 2009 with Lines, Vines and Trying Times. All of the albums featured heavy contributions from Nick, who not only led the songwriting process but also played a wide variety of instruments, from drums to keyboard to guitar.
Taking a rare break from the band, Nick Jonas began working with several other musicians on a side project in late 2009. Members from Prince's New Power Generation were recruited to join the lineup, including Michael Bland and Tommy Barbarella, and the group dubbed itself Nick Jonas & the Administration before making its debut in early 2010 with the album Who I Am. The record performed respectably, peaking at three on the U.S. charts on its way to sales of 151,000, but there were soon suggestions that Nick was planning to return to the Jonas Brothers fold. This didn't happen. A 2013 tour was scrapped just prior to its October launch and, soon afterward, the band split. Nick Jonas regrouped with a 2014 solo tour followed by the November release of an eponymous album. Over the course of 2014, Jonas gained momentum, generating the Top 10 single "Jealous," which also topped Billboard's dance charts, as did "Chains " and "Levels," a bonus track from 2015's Nick Jonas X2.
In the Summer of 2016, Jonas returned with a new full-length effort, Last Year Was Complicated, featuring production by Jason Evigan, Mattman & Robin, Sir Nolan, and others. Included on the album was "Close," a duet with Tove Lo, and "Bacon," featuring Ty Dolla $ign. The album debuted at number two on the Billboard 200. Also around this time, Jonas returned to acting, starring in the erotic thriller Careful What You Wish For and the fraternity hazing drama Goat. In 2017, he released the singles "Remember I Told You," featuring Anne-Marie and Mike Posner, and "Find You." Also that year, he collaborated with Nicki Minaj on the track "Bom Bidi Bom" off the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack.

My faith in you, baby, is very comfortable for me
Never trust a door 'til it's open
Never trust a heart 'til it's a broken
I know you're the one who can break the mold
Iverson was like, told me practice
I don't need a mic 'cause the fact is
So who are you catering to?
Who you fucking with when there ain't nobody fucking with you?
I told you I knew you before you even knew that you were you
Yeah I know you better than that, I know you better
'Cause my faith in you is very comfortable for me
My faith in you, baby, is very comfortable for me
I'm blazing through
Until you're comfortable for me
My faith in you is very comfortable for me
Never met a beauty queen I didn't like
It doesn't mean it's alright and you gotta wife
I'm trying not to take my time, 'cause these ten's got friends
And I'm just tryna kick it with the girl in the back
Who doesn't give a damn
If I'm J from brooklyn or just in the band
It's all the same, it's all the same in her eyes
Well who are you catering to?
Who you fucking with when there ain't nobody fucking with you?
I told you I knew you before you even knew that you were you
Yeah I know you better than that, I know you better
'Cause my faith in you is very comfortable for me
My faith in you, baby, is very comfortable for me
I'm blazing through
Until you're comfortable for me
My faith in you is very comfortable for me
Not a game not the game that talk about
It's easy to sum it up when you just talk about practice
We're sitting here I'm supposed to be the franchise player
And we're in here talking about practice
I mean, listen, we talking about practice
Not a game, not a game, not a game
We talking about practice
Not a game, not the game that I go out there and die for and play every game like it's my last
Not the game, we're talking about practice, man
I mean, how silly is that, we're talking about practice
I know I'm supposed to be there I know I'm supposed to lead by example, I know that
And I'm not shoving it aside like it don't mean anything
Not the game, not the game, I'm not shoving it aside, you know, like it don't mean anything
My faith in you is very comfortable for me
My faith in you, baby, is very comfortable for me
I'm blazing through
Until you're comfortable for me
My faith in you is very comfortable for me
The song "Comfortable" by Nick Jonas seems to be about an intense level of trust and faith in a significant other. The lyrics convey the idea that this trust has been built over time and is a source of comfort for the singer. This trust is also contrasted with the veneer of fake relationships that the singer has seen in the past, emphasizing the vulnerability and sincerity in a real connection. The lyrics also tie in quotes from Allen Iverson's infamous press conference about practice, using it as an example of something that can be misconstrued and taken out of context, just like a relationship.
Through the lyrics, it becomes apparent that the singer has a deep belief in their significant other, one that is unwavering and steadfast. The use of the phrase "very comfortable" suggests that the singer is willing to take risks and be vulnerable with this person, as the level of trust is immense. The stanza about not trusting a door until it's open fits in with this theme and implies that the singer has been cautious about who they let into their life, but that they now have full faith in this specific person.
Overall, the song suggests that true comfort can be found in a genuine and honest relationship, one that allows both parties to be themselves without any pretense.

@Beliverock5
This album is so good. He deserved more attention
@veronicacarla2574
Nick deserves more recognition and fame, more than any other artist!
@lainielevine9054
I think the last part of your statement is wrong. Other artists have worked a lot harder to be where they are.
@maridf306
+Lainie Levine I agree that he isn't the only artist that works hard. But he has given his all into this album and the reinvention of his career. Lots of his peers don't have to work as hard as him because their fanbase is gigantic, so it's more uphill for him.
@troy492
Everyone has different test in order to get to their testimony. And Nick is not his peers.
@NNAATTYY1974
Nick Jonas didn't pay attention to The way he "markets" his music that's why people doesn't really know his music. There is clearly a problem, he is more talented than Ariana but he doesn't have the same huge fanbase. If only scooter could give up Justin and manages Nick instead ๐
@KennedieGriggs
That's a freaking epic saying dude
@sibihontas
Can't decide which song I prefer more in the album. But this one, he really killed it. Love te song, the r&b rhythm and the change beat in the chorus :)
