Room
Ninet Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
You dont
You can say nothing
A-at all
I want to take you to my room
On the carpet
One for me and
One for her
I want to take you to my room
Take it, burn it, save me then let go
Take it, burn it, save me the free fall
I want to take you to my room
The song "Room" by Ninet is a powerful and emotional portrayal of a yearning desire to connect with someone deeply. The first few lines indicate a sense of frustration and powerlessness, as the singer states that the other person "doesn't do that" and "can say nothing at all." Despite this, there is a strong desire to bring this person into their personal space, into the singer's room. The imagery of two drops of something on the carpet, one for the singer and one for the other person, is evocative and suggests a sense of intimacy and shared experience.
The chorus of the song is particularly striking, with a repeated refrain of the singer stating that they want to take the other person to their room. The lyrics "Take it, burn it, save me then let go" and "Take it, burn it, save me the free fall" further suggest a sense of intense emotion and a desire for a deep, transformative experience. The repetition of the desire to take someone to their room suggests not just a physical space but a deeper emotional space where they can connect on a profound level.

This kills on the spot: https://youtu.be/w8L5bLAYK3Y Why is it not on the channel? I heard it as many times as I could and I return to it for many years. I think this is the best of you! Here you don't need anything but camera man and the group. No clip editors. Just you, singing and microphone. I think one of the best composition (even cover) I have ever heard. The second best is "I put a spell on you" but there the guy singing with you spoils the song. Still the bliss.
