It's been years since the fic was written and I feel like an archeologist in this fandom but I'm also here to leave my mark on the world and say that Find A Temple, Build A Temple is the most beautiful fic I've ever read and I'm happy I can leave this comment here amongst the ones of fans who have long since moved on and say that I love it like they used to

The strange thing about Find a Temple is that it's so sad, you can't even cry. I teared up once or twice through the story, but over all the emotions I felt couldn't be conveyed in tears. Also, how this song has no words but fit the song perfectly. I think I speak for everyone in a sense when I say that not even one of those thick, romantic books my mom keeps in her room will ever compare to those two capters of pure emotion.

It feels like a story in its own. I can't even put into words how amazing this story was. The amount of emotion and relatability put into it gives it an even more surreal and lively field to the piece of work itself. every month I pick a day to reread it and listen to the song again, and it has really had an emotional impact on a lot of people.

find a temple, build a temple I think is honestly one of the best fics I've read in a long time... it was just full of so much raw emotion, and I'm not ashamed to say that I cried several times while reading it haha.... but this song really is a fitting end to it. it fits the story well

My head is now filled with all the images of Dirk and Jake as they gallivant off into the wild unknown, this song ringing in their souls - from scouring some long forgotten Mayan ruins, to watching the stars shine above Uluru, they will always be together.
