Ararat mountain eyes are the witness of our pain til' the end of time.
Genocide, genocide millions of corpses for a piece of land
For 2 years blood ran through your hands, disgust, cowardis scorn, hatred swit you so fine. Victims voices of my past sound again and again on the earth. I keep in mind of every people who lost millions of victims in the darkness and to you lost in your sorryful world I tell:
The death there's no death, just a lovely trip my friend to another land.
Hay mer...
I'm the devil hauting your country's nightmares, people give me the world no one is innocent, that's why they will all pay. My anger is a poisened gift, I spit on your past, spit on the war. I keep in mind of every people who lost millions of victims in the darkness and to you lost in your sorrowful world I tell:
The death there's no death.
Just a lovely trip my friends to another land. To another land, to another land my friends...
The song "Another Land" by No One Is Innocent is a powerful commentary on the Armenian genocide that occurred in 1915. The lyrics recall the horrors of the violent and bloody conflict, expressing the intense pain and suffering felt by the victims and their families.
The first stanza of the song describes the chaos and destruction of the conflict, with bombs flying and the Caucasus plain filled with blood, rapes, tears, and misery. The second stanza explores the emotional toll of the genocide, with the victims' voices echoing through time and the singer offering comfort to those who have lost loved ones. The chorus repeats the idea that death is not the end, but rather a journey to another land.
The final verse takes a more aggressive tone, with the singer addressing those who have perpetrated the violence: "I'm the devil haunting your country's nightmares, people give me the world no one is innocent, that's why they will all pay." This reflects a desire for justice and retribution for the victims of the genocide.
Overall, "Another Land" is a powerful and emotional song that serves as a reminder of the atrocities committed during the Armenian genocide. It uses vivid imagery and strong language to convey the pain and suffering experienced by those who were affected by the conflict.

Magnifique !

Vive les No one is innocent !!

Great song. Musically reminds me of Jane's Addiction tune.
