The first N.U. releases, 1989's Grinding Into Emptiness and 1990's Response Frequency, were a collaboration between Leeb and Marc Verhaeghen of (The Klinik).
Verhaeghen left after second album, and Noise Unit became simply another FLA pseudonym. 1994's Strategy of Violence is probably the most notable release from the project. With the release of their fourth album, Decoder, in 1995, N.U.'s style had begun to embrace some influences from trance, while maintaining the aggressive quality of their earlier, more industrial sound. This is a direction Noise Unit has developed further with later releases.
With many varying members over the years, they have included: Bill Leeb (Front Line Assembly, Delerium, early Skinny Puppy), Marc Verhaeghen (Klinik), Daniel Myer Haujobb), Rhys Fulber (Front Line Assembly, Delerium) and Chris Peterson (Front Line Assembly, Will, Decree).

@EddieZ999
Possibly the best Noise Unit piece of music to exist.
@xtrackt
Their masterpiece. This track goes beyond nostalgia, it's constantly optimistic and feels as if you're approaching a once distant dream.
@EricShans
if you're still reading this, couldn't have said it better
@xtrackt
@@EricShans Listening to this again right now and I forgot I even left that comment. Glad it resonates, keep up the good fight!
@villekarenlampi1007
This is THE best Noise Unit song. Period.
@Lofote
Greatest song on Decoder, love especially the snare drum sound here. And the part starting with 03:40 is just a dream.

You're damn right my dude!
@23059417
That part of the song is truly uplifting
@Vislav
I really wish Noise Unit would make some new stuff. Something like this, it's amazing. It's hard to find music like this today.
@DangerboyR
This has been my favorite song of all time since the first time I heard it over a decade ago.
